im presuming the reason its a disappointment is the server. i am just playing it myself..

some dude in my lobby is already 2nd prestige.. thats kinda pathetic lol

Game is great servers are hit or miss.

Had 3 hard freezes sitting in lobby

im horrible but its not bad. kinda fun. has a "batman forever" fluorescent color feel to it.

Just picked up my copy at Gamestop. There was an Army Ranger behind me in line that just got back from Afghanistan. He said they'd go out and kill people and when they got back to the base they'd get on Black Ops and kill some more people. He said it was great.

Maps are so much better. Servers are touchy but the games I have been in have been fun.

Anyone want to split the downloadable season pass with me? it can only be split 2 ways.

I enjoy how tiny the maps are. I cant sit around and it frustrated me in the long ass maps to be killed and have to run it again. I also enjoy the different maps. I like it, even though my PS3 is dying or my game keeps freezing

I've been playing on and off since about 12:15am ( expect for work ) game play is great, just some adjustments for weapons. Maps are fun and pretty easy to learn I have seen quite a few and got use to some pretty quick. Nuketown is fun but quick as hell. Sniping is easier on here then MW3. Camping is regular but there are a lot of corners. Only plus side is you can still get a chance to win that fight if your turn speed is set high and you react well. Haven't seen lag but yes a lot of server issues to start which was expected as far as getting a game started but once in it was pretty smooth. I'm off tomorrow so I will probably be playing a lot between tonight and tomorrow. I do like Drone, Yemen, Highjacked and Overflow so far but I'm sure there are more I just don't remember the names. I'm 50/50 on how I feel about the weapons you start out with though.

The scoring streak is shit. Make everything equal or go to straight kill streak/point streak. Does not reward for objective players nor does it reward for kills. For example, I had 40 plus combined kill confirmed/ denies and all I can muster is an rc car here and there. Where's my incentive to go for tags if the only give me 25 points to my streak? Uggggggggggg

I don't get it. It's a point streak? I only got 2 streaks and I thought it was for kills. I have a lot to learn...

im sure it wil be fun after we figure it out and they dial in the servers.

I felt it was hard to know if you killed someone.

felt like it could be a pretty good, they just need to fine tune or dial in a few things.


one "gripe" is every gun felt the same to me...

There is a meter next to your streaks. It fills up when you get points for captures and kills. For example a care package is 500 points. So you need 500 points before you die. My gripe is shit ain't balanced right. A kill can be multiple points. If you get a kill with a kill streak it's worth 25 points compared to 100. In kill confirmed, a kill denied is only 25 points. Hell that is a major objective. I just feel the scoring is whack.
