the "share" feature is sweet!
So friends can watch your gameplay and comment during the game

Just some cool things I like out the gate (still listening/watching due to work):
I love the stream idea. For the NDL, it allows for any game to be broadcasted which would be more immersive. Could possibly allow for scouting for those that want to go that deep. In general, I like it because I can watch my friends play games I'm on the fence about. Could sway me to buy something I wasn't too sure about.
Obviously I like being able upload clips of play right away. Looking forward to seeing more on that in the future. If that is the case, I'd hope they have a massive number of friends possible. I'd add everyone so I can watch their highlights. I can see it now. Get to work, check the site, lookup the users on my phone, and hope they put up clips.
On a personal level, I like the idea of suspended play. One of my favorite features of MLB and why I can play so many games. Don't have to carve out x amount of time to play a game. Just play my 12 minutes and resume later.
Lastly, I would like to see Sony take remote play seriously. If they really live by the "everything, everywhere" concept, it makes having a Vita very handy. The latency definitely would have to be cut down though.
PS4 fund started! Look forward to E3 to see more.

Game developers will have easier time making games for this system. In theory, no more games being better on one system and struggling on the other.

8GB of GDDR5 RAM is a HUGE step up. This is high performance RAM.

I'll get it. i'd like to say I wont, but i will.
How long has it been since the PS3 came out?
feel like i've got my monies worth.
I can for sure see the PS3 crapping out months before this comes out and me having to either buy one for a short run or waiting it out

Told my wife about it last night and she says "So I suppose your going to have to have it?" I play it off, "maybe, not sure yet." Then she says, "you will, just another thing that takes away time from me. Like its a girlfriend or something."
I'm going to have to work this into the budget...

Depending on the price will determine when I get the new device, did the press conferance mention anything about price? I have read that it might cost anywhere from $299-$600....if it has already been mentioned, please forgive me I have been under a rock trying to get my team into the OOTP playoffs.

I found it interesting that they didn't show the actual machine at all. Just the remote and the camera. I didn't watch the whole thing, but are they turning it into a television device like Xbox is doing? DVR, Cable access, etc.? I know it will have streaming like Netflix etc, but I have heard, may be wrong that Xbox next gen is going to have a DVR for cable television kind of option.

That was me and those are the rumored prices that look plausible from what I have seen. They took a bath on the ps3 being over priced. They have to be close to the competition price or they will screw themselves again. They have a chance of reclaiming the console wars if they correct mistakes of the ps3.

I should have around 30,000 Sony Point when this drops, so at least I can save $300 on it.

i actually think spectator will be cool for other reasons. Checking out new games and thing like that.
they need to adopt Xbox's party system as well which is way better than what we have now.
Seems like this is going to put Gamestop type stores out of business as well
keep in mind they have said a ton of cool stuff, how much of it will actually work bug free?

Shop at Sony store or use one of their cards.

Totally agree with your first and last point.
And I'm sure those who liked Skyrim (or wanted to) are excited about the RAM upgrade.
