hey Weasel, I've got what just seems like a normal cold, but everytime I take this cough syrup called "koffex dm", I want to puke. On the weekend I thought I was sick, took it, got nausea and puked. Today, I decided again I could try just a little sip, maybe it wasnt the koffex. For 2 hours I was so nausea I would never wish that on my worst enemy. Is there a particular reason its doing this to me?

Its dextromethorphan, and nausea is a known possible side effect for some people. Just stop taking it, and see about trying another cough suppressant without that active ingredient in it (codeine would be an alternate choice)

i wrote that when I was sick, what I meant to say was. "on saturday I woke up with a cough, I took some cough medicine, and an hour later i puked, so I chalked it up as the flu..Tuesday comes, and the night prior I dont get to sleep before 7am because of a horrible cough, so I took the koffex again (not knowing 100% that was the cause) and then I got nausea and sick feeling again, so I wanted to know if its directly related to this cough medicine (ive never had this happen before) or if something was wrong"..

sorry guys, next time i can barely see while typing I'll be sure to make more sense of it. Thank you to weasel though for answering it.

Good thing is, while we got "Doctor AJ" in here, he said "try another cough syrup".. so maybe I go and buy one with that long ass word Weasel has in it.. it would be the SAME PROBLEM. moron.

As for Six, I'd bash my head in til I bled out to death if I had to live in Nebraska so I understand your pain
