Thats my guess at a possible connection if it even goes there.

I have a feeling this is an Al Queda attack (their MO is simultaneous attacks at different spots) but if it's not, this week is the anniversary of both OKC bombing and the Waco fiasco, so it wouldn't surprise me.

This was an American doing it to other Americans.

It was timed to get more people. Most of your runners aren't going to run elite times. You do something like this, you're trying to inflict as much damage as possible. So you'd time it for when your average finishers are coming across.

The police chief just confirmed a third explosion at JFK library.

This is a sad day.

JFK Library is about 5 minute drive from my house. They are saying though it's not related.

Finally actually talked to my brother. At the it happened he was at mile 22. About 10 days ago he hurt his groin training or else him and his 'team' would have been finishing pretty close to when it happened

It's scary how small these must have been to avoid detection, especially at the finish line. They're likely going to heighten security around here now for the next few weeks. We're expecting over 750k downtown for Thunder on Saturday.

I'll never understand how people take enjoyment out of shit like this.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Their "joy" comes from them thinking they are making progress for themselves or hindering our progress in retribution.

In addition, Boston police have surveillance video of someone bringing multiple backpacks to blast site, according to CBS News

I know. It's scary to think things so small that nobody will look twice at can be snuck into places like these and do damage like this.

I don't get this. So there were three explosions in Boston but two were completely unrelated to the other? I don't get that.

Nick, I wouldn't use the NY Post to wipe my ass. Take anything they say with a grain of salt.

Peay, turns out JFK library incident was actually just a mechanical room fire, and unrelated.
