It's "compliant". It's just one of those things that makes me feel uneasy because it's obvious to anybody outside of the NCAA that something isn't right. And I don't want the drama and questions that will come w this kid.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand today the other shoe drops. His "guardian" who created the "school" he plays for has apparently been asking people how he can make money off the kid. Please, please, please choose Memphis, this kid is going to be nothing but problems, if he even plays a single possession for any school.

And from someone who covers the team daily (cue the "compliance lady" jokes, but it's not just me who says it...):
How sketchy is Hamilton? Parrish cites a source that says the NCAA is already building a file on Skal and his recruitment, which will end tomorrow night. The current favorite for Skal? Kentucky.
Skal seems like a great kid who’s being managed by a sleaze ball, and although I have total faith in Sandy Bell, I’d by lying if I said this doesn’t make me nervous.

well he picked the wrong school to go to if he chooses Kentucky.
no way Cal would ever do something like pay a player to come play for him

Nobody's "paid" anybody anything. He's down to UK and Memphis due to other schools pulling out; and rumor is that Memphis stopped recruiting him a few weeks ago. Cal hasn't even talked to him in like two weeks at this point.
His "guardian" won't let anybody talk directly to the kid, they can only talk to him. The kid has said that the matresses at UK are a big reason he wants to go there. This kid is being manipulated and taken advantage of, he's poor and he's being used as a cash cow. To me, this is no better than human trafficking. The IRS is looking into his guardian and I hope they massacre him.

You have amazing resiliency. Just when I am completely done with you, you hit a 510-foot bomb like this one.
I'll keep you on the bench.

I got a tweet from Washington and he wasn't too happy that you mistaken him for some bum. He said he has circled June 9-11 and will explode that series.

I have no idea who you are talking about but, that aside, she is/was a man. I'm not being facetious either; that's an actual allegation.

Apparently, I'm supposed to be paying attention to both Nebraska and Buffalo basketball as both will be pretty good.

Larranaga is the man.
i really like him (despite what he did to UConn when he was at George Mason). i'm not sure how good UM is but with a guy like him they should be always be competitive.
