Yes, anything that doesn't allow this to go through will be best for the league. :)
The more restrictions we put on the worse it is.

I've always thought the commish should intervene. That's why you're the commish. I think it would be minimal for when Corey actually has to make a decision

What does Corey use as his parameters to make his decision then?

Seriously what is your problem with me? Heaven forbid I have an opinion on anything without you bringing up something about my team. You don't even know how I voted, just assuming as usual. Try and be proactive and make an actual proposal with a solution rather than continue to whine and cry.

Or quit.

there's 0 problem with you. I'd call out anyone in the league for doing this. You unfortunately did it. Sometimes I have ot speak up to get the wheels in motion. i dont mind being the bad guy if it makes things better. If you think this is personal then by all means, but I like some realism in my game and being 160ish mil in debt, and taking on more debt, with no consequences, is not realism. Its merely the #, i dont care about debt. Everyones gonna be like max 50m in debt, but 160ish? plus taking on 70ish mil? cmon man, draw the line.

and before people say "well theres no rule, lets draw the line" i dunno if Trendon ever told u guys how he found the players... ... they were in game.. in the players list.. that we all check when we click the tab down, and you go to players, and it showed everyone including IFAs but it didnt say this. So he was making a draft history for the start of the league going thru every name and just noticed random dudes were FAs and gave em chances. and you guys all branded him a cheater, and kicked him from the league he started, when im pretty sure he came forward and said he did it, and was not cheating and def wouldnt of done it (and stopped when figured out what was happening), but he was a cheater.

But THIS SHIT, is "well theres no rule"

fuck you

I will leave this open until tomorrow but the pending decision ,barring any changes, is that I will handle trades on a case by case basis based on financials.

This would be good

This!
I think this is the best approach.
There doesn't need to be a hard rule on if someone is 22.756789% above their budget, payroll, etc.
The commissioner has the right to step in when he thinks it could cause a negative impact to a team/league, etc.

As far as what will Corey use for his parameters, his judgement.
If there is ever a time where Corey has to rule and the owner has a big problem with it, then we can open it up to a discussion if need be, but I am willing to bet it never comes to that.

OK, newbie question here.

Why the fuck did you guys let it get so out of hand in the first place?

You stay within your payroll or you are punished. No draft picks, no fa's till you are under budget etc.....

This eye test palaver is stupid and completely open to abuse and conjecture.

How on earth can teams be allowed to be so over budget, what if everyone did it? It's mental. Not to mention the inflationary affect it has on fa salary's and extensions.

Flip side, what benefit do the teams who stay within budget get¿ seems like sweet FA?

My 2¢.
