Don't take this as me being an asshole. But why don't she quarantine and stay away from people who may carry the virus?

Re: COVID-19
Not sure about that specific situation, but the issue for many is the bills don't pay themselves, so they feel forced to work if they are allowed.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 9:14 pm

Not saying we should 100% be giving everyone those checks, but it's absurd that the Ds and Rs are still fighting over it. IF you're going to do it, it should be in the works already, or don't do it at all. Instead they've spent the past week fighting about it because our politicians/government/President are all incompetent.

Re: COVID-19
That's why I don't say it's as dire as the media/politicians want us to believe. If it was then we would not be worrying about how to pay bills

Re: COVID-19
ya shut the pharmacy down and then people will die from everything instead of just CovidGeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 9:14 pm

Re: COVID-19
If someone is at risk then they should stay home. Nick likes to throw out statistics but this one hits home as close as it can. So if she (or anyone else like her) is as vulnerable they should stay home. Statistically it's not me that's going to die from this, it's the older population with other underlying health problemsDRWebs wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 9:54 pmThat was a serious question?GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 9:14 pm

Re: COVID-19
I try to stay away from people as much as possible. If I cough (which I've had since beginning of February when I had the flu) I always cough into my shirt. I go do my part time job and my business and that is it.

Re: COVID-19
So any at risk doctor, nurse, assisted living caretaker, etc should stay home?GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 10:01 pmIf someone is at risk then they should stay home. 60+ year old doctors
Diabetic nurses/caretakers
Pregnant women
All of them should just stay home... Are you starting to see how unrealistic that is and what problems could result from that?

Re: COVID-19
George, so you want everyone who is on normal medication to just stop taking their meds? wtf kind of question was that?
You can't be....I think he just got us, that has to be it!
On a different note, if that was serious, that must be some good shit you are getting out there in Omaha or Colorado or wherever you are these days.
Some people are called essential workers and pharmacy's, doctors, nurses, caregivers and grocery stores fall into that category among others.

Re: COVID-19
I never said that. I said if someone is at high risk they should stay home. I don't care if you are a garbage man, secretary, doctor or whatever else. Who cares if they are essential,. How else do we curb them dying? It's not the healthy people dying. Is it that hard to understand?The_Niddler wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 4:08 am George, so you want everyone who is on normal medication to just stop taking their meds? wtf kind of question was that?
