Well if you look at my Indiana/Michigan State recap, you will see my guy piggy back riding the quarterback and he pitches the ball perfectly (through Ringer's stomach none the less). So they haven't fixed it completely. BTW, I love option football so I just wish they fixed it so people won't complain about it.pounddarock wrote:besides stopping you from quadruple posting...buckeye76 wrote:
co sign. This is not to say im not a fan of the option, its by far my favorite offense, just cause the defense knows whats coming. What i dont like is when the qb is almost to the ground and still gets the pitch off.
...from a guy that loves to run the option, the "late" pitch is usually from a delay in animation, not from the guy pushing the pitch button. Believe me, I'd much rather the QB pitch the ball immediately when I want him to, but the stupid computer A.I. likes to finish an animation first. On that note though, this year's game has dramatically limited the pitch on the option..if the QB's arm is wrapped up in any way...he won't pitch it no matter how wide open the pitch man is. At least that is more realistic...if his arm is free (even if he's being tackled) then it makes sense that he can still pitch the ball.

But what PDR is saying, it's not the user's fault as the user is usually pressing the pitch button WAY earlier but it's not recognized til much later.Quest4Gold wrote:pounddarock wrote:besides stopping you from quadruple posting...buckeye76 wrote:

With all due respect, the last few posts in this thread have been about as worthless as a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on. With all due respect.

No I am just saying I hope it is fixed so this offense can come back into the game because that is the type of football I like to play. Time will tell.

Re: ncaa 2010 info
LOTS of new info regarding WR/DB interactions.
As is usually the case, this stuff sounds great right now, lol.
Everything he mentions here is in Madden and NCAA except for the 1st part,t he matchup screen, which would have been awesome to have on NCAA.

I haven't read the article but will this be the first season EA figures out bracket coverage? Nothing like watching doubles get beat over and over because both guys play behind the WR.

put Arkansas in the Big 12, replacing Baylor. put GTech in the SEC taking that spot that opened up. put USF in the ACC filling the GTech spot. Put Memphis in the Big East and finally Baylor in the CUSA.
Memphis vs Louisville happens.
Baylor vs Houston happens.
Arkansas vs Texas happens
Georgia Tech vs Georgia in conf happens.
damn im good.

That wouldn't be a bad idea...Then 'BigSimWin61985' couldn't dodge me with his Gators either

Re: ncaa 2010 info
I disagree especially for online dynasties. Now you can actually build up a 1-star team and have them move into a BCS conference. Gives guys motivation to hang onto them and build up recruiting. I think OD's are the way of the future for this game and this is much needed.
