depends what you're talking about really.

It will be a bit of a pain for you until you reach level 20, then the game is a lot more fun.

Hard to explain but there are some areas that are public. Those areas have public events where anybody in the area and team up. You can do strikes with random people or your friends. I think missions you can either do solo or with friends and friends can jump into missions at any point and help. I think I was doing a mission when Biffy jumped in but I'm not sure. Random people can't just jump into your missions.

So, it's really a mix. It's actually all pretty well done and rather seamless.

Hoos is correct. Patrols are free roam. Missions/strikes friends can join to help out. So if you are struggling to beat something holler at one of us and we can help you beat it.

What character did you pick? Titan, hunter, warlock?

Is 31 the cap now or does raid gear take you higher?

I"m really enjoying the game after my first night playing it. It reminds me of Borderlands quite a bit which is a good thing. I went with a Titan. I like being able to just punch the crap out of some of the lesser enemies and save ammo. I leveled up to 4 last night and unlocked the first three upgrades.

Sad seeing a former friend who was such a wealth of video game knowledge turn in to a pussy whipped donkey brain. Hoos knew everything there was to know about whatever game you needed info on. Now simple things baffle him.

I once tore it up in a PvP and got a Hawkmoon. It's good to be rewarded.
