This is a dumb...dumb game.... How is that?
Hi.
I hope I'm wrong because Smitty is a really good owner but I think a D91 style rage quit is a lock for him in the future.
Seems really laid back, I don't see it at all
LOL... I wouldn't just rage quit, I would just dedicate less time playing the game than I do now. You can put as much or as little time into this as you see fit, right now its a lot of time! I just like for things to make sense, when they don't then i'll just find other things to do!

He has a long way to go before it's justifiable...
'68 - Ron O'Dineer - Out 13 months
'69 - James Johnston - Out 2 months
'69 & '70 - Dave Marks - Out 13 months
'71 - Duane Atkins - Out 8 months
'71 - James Johnston - Out 3 months
'72 - Scott Fox - Out 10 months
Maybe I need to rage quit....
To me..... there has to be a reason for this if those aren't all Fragile or Wrecked guys. It has to be a system, trainer or pure volume issue there. That's way too many injuries for anyone to just say "it happens". If that were a real franchise someone would be fired!

In Pete's defense...
* None of the pitchers injured had a fragile or wrecked label at the time of injury
* None of his starters seemingly have pitch counts of 100+
* I can't speak on the previous trainer, but the current one is Legendary for Arm Injury Prevention and Outstanding for Fatigue Recovery
One can only deduce it's the team name that's to blame

What are injuries?
Injury volume has been pretty nonexistent although intensity seemingly hasn't changed over the last few game versions

Patrick Jackson was not a good introduction into this game for me!
So you're saying its Billy's fault, got it!

Poor Omar Herrera's contract extension could not make the news. I think that is a pretty great deal for Philly.

I regret not more aggressively pursuing a deal for him... Great young player

I offered him Goncalves and a prospect when Goncalves was 18 or so and in R ball. D91 said no and I said dude you will really regret saying no to this. He then spent the next 2 seasons begging me to do the deal.

I don’t love that he can opt out after 3. I tried my best to fight it but he wouldn’t budge.

Pretty frustrating when I have 4 of 5 starters with sub 4 ERAs and decent bullpen but we can't score runs. Drafts and free agency hasn't given the hitters I thought I should have.
