I can't ever remember the AL playoff races being so boring. The most excitement is to see if the AL West team can reach .500. Big sim for RI to get there this week.
NL is set as well it seems playoff wise. I think we add 2 more teams or up injurys. Expansion draft would be fun.

What's the biggest difference you think in the 70 page seasons and these 20 something seasons?
Competitive balance?
Less active owners coming in to the league over the years?
Is there anything for you long timers that maybe stands out? The amount of changes made have to have something to do with it. Every draft pick gets signed, no coaches, low injuries, no draft pick trading....they all equate to less interaction. If you can go a week without exporting and not miss a beat, what's the point?

Some of this is true. Half the league try's. Half the league going for that number 1 pick.

I'm definitely not trying for the 1st pick. I'll just make a couple of signings each year till my AA guys grow enough to start in the majors. I have one guy in AAA that could play this year but it's not worth wasting an ARB year on half a season so he'll get his shit at ROY next season. And then Video will get a shot in 2 years
I was hoping to get up to 65 wins this season. At this point I'll be happy with 45.

To be honest if you look at exports we are as active as ever and the quality of owners is as good as ever. There isn’t a league rule. What it come down to is a lot of new guys who come in and become really good owners just don’t post much. That combined with many long time owners who never post any more. It’s just extremely rare to find new owners who will love forums and actively post.
