Advanced to Week 12

I advanced this late last night but didnt post the advance, so there is 2 outstanding games of the 3. Since I assuming this is a result of me not also letting everyone know we advance .. giveing extension on the games.. since they are big games for the coachs.

Bama is surging up the polls of late, and this week its the iron bowl. This is a big game aside from the rivarly for bama. Currently bama is tied for 1st in the SEC west, a win here can get them a share of the division title. Unfortnately for a SEC Champ game they need help next week from LSU, when LSU takes on Arkansas. As Arkansas holds the tiebreaker against Bama

Clemson has been hot and cold all season, this week they take on the coaches dream coaching job. Had he remained at SMU a few more seasons he may not have been locked into a contract with MSU when the openning came up 2 seasons ago in Texas. This week Clemson looks to relish once agian in the underdog roll and knock off another big boy.

Had the same shit happen....in fact i was supposed to be home last night. Flight was cancelled. Got a hotel room. Had a flight out today from DFW....flight was cancelled. booked to fly out tomorrow at 11am so ill be here another night.

Dallas had some bad lightning and wind storms which cause power to flicker various times through the night. twice while playing my OD game in this league and the Underdog Dynasty as well....

Oh how mother nature can make things interesting!! I was playing my Week 13 game against the Buffs last night and was more than halfway through the delivery of a complete and thorough ass thumping (up 45-6 midway thru the 3rd) and lost power due to the heavy snowfall in my area.

Turn it on this morning to complete the destruction of Colorado and this time it was a whole new story. Colorado's defense looked tougher than any defense the Huskers have seen all season. Buffs took a 20-14 lead with just 3 minutes remaining before Husker returner Curtis "Fitty" Jackson took the kickoff to the house to give Nebraska a 21-20 lead. Nebraska hangs on for dear life to pull the 1 point win in Lincoln.

Damn the rivalry games and the emphasis EA puts on them for total screw jobs.

As far as throwing the game, I wish I could say I threw it on purpose but my defense just could not contain the aerial assult Miami put up. No matter what I called they exploited it.

Advanced to Championship Week

#11 vs #3

A week 5 Rematch ( Clemson won in a high scoring 49-38 shootout) Clemson will take on North Carolina for the ACC championship and a date to face off agianst Big East Champ Syracuse in the Orange Bowl. While the Tar Heels hope to exact some revenge against the Tigers and with a little luck slide into the National Championship Game.

In the Big 12 Championship the Cornhuskers will square off agianst the Longhorns to secure their spot in the National Championship. Oddly enough Corso and Herbstreit both predict an upset. I guess they didnt notice that Texas has loss 2 or their last 3 games. Texas looks to spoil the Cornhuskers great season and slide into a BCS bowl game.

Once again Tulsa and Southern Miss are squareing off for the CUSA championship. You may remember last season Southern Miss was just one game away from a National Championship appearence when Tulsa ended their dreams. This year Southern Miss looks to return the favor and prevent Tulsa from making a BCS Bowl (Suger Bowl), they are currently predicted to play in.

Once again Buffalo is back in the Mac Championship as they will face off against Western Michigan one the best passing offenses in the country(#8). With a win Buffalo will secure its spot in the National Championship and a chance to defend their title.

yo...i had to start over. I didnt select my proper PBs for Clemson....havent even run an O play at this time.....sorry boys,.

Clemson goes down to the wire with #3 UNC. After being down 21 in the 2nd half, Clemson manages to catch up to UNC in hte 4th. on a 4th and goal from the 15 yard line, down 7, Clemson tried to go for the tie. However the ball is tipped and intercepted by UNC and Grant Lee goes 103 yards to extend the lead to 14.
With 15 seconds left in the game Clemson finds a streaking Marcus on a 59 yard TD to bring it within one score again....but hte onside fails and UNC runs out the clock.

Clemson would outgain UNC 590 - 341 including 574 passing for sophmore Jared Brooks. He would throw 4 tds but also 3 ints, 2 of them retured for 195 yards and 2 TDs.

Tough Loss, but sounds like a great game to have seen.
