But they have to do it creatively as they are stacking the box with no fear of the freshman

Some terrible play variety here tonight for the canes.
Huge sets,Louisville waiting for the slow developing runs.
Let the kid throw, spread em out a little more and let these guys play.

I like them. They have the Hurricane logo underneath the U. I do not like that they didn't kick a fg there instead of going for it.

Both sets of Unis were cool. The 'Ville helmets were bad ass under the lights.
Miami will get better. the Kayaa has a lot of promise and I can see why they started him day 1. Still has some work to do reading blitz packages and knowing his protections but he will be solid by the end of the year. Louisville looked impressive. They have a lot of talent at the skilled positions and are still missing their #1 WR if im not mistaken. The D looks fast and athletic and they will make a lot of noise in the SEC. Bobby has them playing very well right now.

Just a very frustrating team to watch.
Yes, Kaaya is a true freshman and looked like it most of the night with happy feet but he showed flashes of potential. The big problem is coaching and how bad that play calling was most of the night. I guess its the chicken or the egg argument though is how much do you give the freshman and what can be called.
Stage was way too big for the youngin. Ryan Williams and his tore ACL will be back soon but at this point let the kid play and learn as this team isnt going anywhere besides a mediocre December bowl game.
It's painful to watch what this program has become since being one of the best programs in college football.

And yet UTSA looks like they may actually be a decent mid-major program.

UTSA would beat Miami right now.
I need to talk to some lower to middle of the road team fans and see how they mentally enjoy their football teams on gameday Saturdays when your team is like this.
Maybe get with some Purdue, Washington State, Rutgers fans and ask how to prepare for Saturdays with no expectations. Seems pretty stress free.

I'm right here dude. We all have expectations. Mine are just lower and when they're inevitably not met you've just got to roll with it. You need to be able to laugh at your football program. I probably make more IU football jokes than any Purdue fan.

I think last night we clearly saw the Canes have talent on that roster, but I have to question the coaching. Maybe it was just the 1st game, and having a freshman QB, but I'm thinking Golden isn't the guy to get it done for your boys.
