I got an email from my owner that stated since I have done so great in the offseason with signings and trades, he is upping my budget by $16million.

That's pretty awesome!

I think he did mention Akron so yes I'll send you a variety of summer sausages and meats box versus the lame fruit baskets New England sends.

My owner wants me to sign a couple of guys to long term contracts, which is impossible. How the heck am I supposed to do what he wants, if we have every player signed this season, and we are in the top five of payroll for players?

Reminder:
Organization Roster Size:
- At any given time you may have up to 163 players, plus any players that are on your disabled list. You do not have to conform to the max number of players at a specific level of minor league play. You may have more than the max at a given level, as long as you do not exceed 163+ DL, in total organization.
Teams currently over the limit:
Albany-176
Boston-203
Chicago-208
Dallas(no owner)-188
Houston-188
Indianapolis-206
Las Vegas-170
Orange County-195
Philadelphia-207
Port Orange-204
San Antonio-198
Seattle-223
Texas-173
Toronto-182
Washington-175
Winterfell-214

Get these cleaned up before Opening Day. Thanks!

I thought a looooong time ago we basically rendered owners obsolete, in that we turned a setting off that allowed them to control budgets based on whether they're cheap or charitable? Meaning, budgets were specifically set by numbers only.

Is that not correct?

I just sorted by all players in organization for each team. IC wasn't in affect when the rule was written is my understanding so maybe the 163 number needs to change?

I've got a pretty full IC so I'm guessing those numbers are impacting the totals shown.

My owner decided to bump my development and scouting up $3M each. Sucks that it put me in the hole to start the season and now I have zero bucks to get any FA's

You can adjust both of those numbers to where you want it.
