My son played in an AAU tournament there. We were mostly on the northeast side (Ronnie Grandison Basketball Academy and Walnut Hills HS). We did take some time Saturday evening to go downtown and then go over to Covington and Newport. We ate at the Montgomery Inn Friday night. It was pretty freaking good.

Ahh man, I live in Covington! Next time you are in town let me know and I can give you some good restaurants. Montgomery Inn was a solid choice!

Finally got a pitcher to sign and now it looks like Wouter Schoutens has enough stamina to start lol. I'm going to keep him in the pin, but it is nice to have in case one of my starters goes down or starts to suck. It's nice having a rotation where all of my guys are blue overalls

Just on principle alone Corey, you should be no higher than #2!

I think the #1 will SHOCK the league!

Until I prove that I can actually win anything post season related with a good team, I am fringe top 10ish.
I was looking back on the team that I actually won with and it was pretty stacked even moreso than any of my current ones.
Pugh
Miggy in his prime
Buck Patterson
Rangel
Pudge in his prime
Derrick Washington with like a 7WAR
Rotation of
Jamison
Robbins
Reese
Erik White
Quintana
Cole
Yea, way better pitching than any of the 100win + teams I have now including this one.

Who is Pudge. I probably know but as soon as I read that my mind went to Ivan Rodriguez.

Yes, he is in Toronto now. I always called him Pudge
He had some great years in Boston and was one of my favorite consistent guys.

Sammy Bailey went from 10 stamina to 15 this report.
Was 35 before he blew out his elbow. Hope he gets back there and becomes our mini Nieves!

I would say absolutely it was.
That rotation alone warrants that title. Maybe better hitters of late but all around I would say that roster was better than my previous 3 seasons work.
I havent had good pitching and my bullpen has been ok at best.

2045 and 2046 gave up less runs than the title team...and then there's the offense.

I think those numbers are a tad skewed though as we ran a 6 man rotation and didn't have Quintana that whole season.
Then you talk about your playoff 4 in the postseason of:
Jamison
Robbins
White
Reese
w/quintana and Cole in the bullpen
Versus recently:
Robbins
Sanchez
Johnson
Hoffman
Or:
Lee
Ford
Nieves
Jenkins
Give me that title team anyday.

The Contendors
Walker
Plummer
Sawmill
Sanchez
The Hoff
vs.
The Champs
Jamison
Robbins
Reese
White
Quintana
Cole
That is pretty damn close to being equally as awesome. I will give the Champs the edge though.

Cant count Plummer and Walker yet until we lose this year.
