Billy's also talking up the career 5.30 ERA guy as to why he's better than me.



He has great potential guys who aren't at that potential yet. Rotations are a wash. He has the better top part of the lineup but three 20 overall guys in the lineup as well.

Either way it's close, Richmond is not clearly better than Sheltown...on paper. Let's switch divisions then we'll see who has the better record after the season.

Interesting to note...everyone, myself included, seems to think this offseason was super quiet.

Last season's thread at page 22 was just the start of spring, so we have more posts this season than last.

My argument is Alfonso and Moreno are good pitchers already so they may not reach potential of being elite but already good. The only guy I see as not proven is Diaz but my scout and OSA lovehim and think he is ready. He is also one of the 20s Shel referred to.

We can call pitching a wash but mine with more upside but the lineups are not close. Greeks wat better

Rumors swirling out of Boston that Dragoon is refusing to negotiate an extension after he got word from Jeff Ruffin(manager) that he will start the season as the #4 man in the rotation.

Reyes a #1 most of his career and had a ridiculous 18-1 record and an ERA of 1.89 after the trade from Indy last year but got scorched in the postseason to the tune of a 9.39ERA and 2 losses in 3 starts.

Players have stated a line like "a #1 doesn't pitch as shitty as you did in the playoffs" was overheard in the heated meeting as Ruffin announced the rotation and lineups for the season opener.

I may be misreading billy jeans post. I took it that he was stating you have Leonardo Diaz as a 20 POT guy. In which case I was insinuating you may need a new scout

My entire premise was that Richmond is not better than me right now. And right now Diaz is a 20 OVR guy who had a 33 OPS+ last season. Now sure he'll improve this season and be a good player eventually, but we can't pencil him in as a good player for 2050, there's no guarantee of that just yet. And the ratings would suggest more growing pains this season IMO.

But nah, I have him with really solid potentials.
