It was the first one I did. Its not as smooth as the others so I want to do them all over again but havent found the time to do so.
You running through car washes? I did mine and seemed to do fine.

Yup, both drive through and the hand washes. Zero issues with any of it

Not my ride... but a close friend just picked a Tesla S85 last week and I got to drive it last night. So freaking awesome. Keeping in mind that I've got a pretty quick car myself, his Tesla would definitely take me in both 0-60 and 1/4 mile. (I've seen the track tested differences too and they definitely hold up) Instant acceleration, no hesitation, and no real power curve to it. I was talking to him about it and as the battery gets low, he says that he loses acceleration over 65mph. The car is incredibly heavy, but the only time you really notice is it if you're driving it hard into a turn. With the way the braking system works, straight-line braking isn't an issue at all. I'll have to steal some pics from his facebook page and post them. I have to admit, if the car was more affordable, I'd seriously consider one. (with that said, if I'm dropping 80k on a ride, it would be a Nissan GTR)

ive driven just about every car you can think of from high end to shit boxes in the type of work i do. tesla are really nice and very quick and ive been driving those for about year and a half and they are unreal for electric car. reign ,does your buddy have the 260 mile range tesla or the lower one? howd you like the screen in middle of the car with google maps satelitle view as the gps.
ive driven that nissan as wel. sluggish at start but when it gets going it gets going. ive even driven that paul walker death mobile(750k) porsche and its exactly that.
my favorite car is the alpina bmw z8. sitting on 20s, this car packs a punch and there is only like 400 made and there are 15 sitting in the atlantic ocean that fell off the ship.

That center screen was ridiculous! I was messing around with it, adjusting the steering tension and stuff too. Very cool setup. For anyone that hasn't seen it, it's like 1 massive touch screen computer monitor. He had the wireless feed and everything for it. Pretty crazy.
It is the 260+. He's still charging it on 110 @ his house, until that gets upgraded to 220 and he's having them install 2 charge ports at his business. He looked around and there are only like 3 super chargers in Ohio right now. Until he gets a couple along I70/71/75, then he's not going to be able to make his trips straight through to Cleveland/Sandusky from where we live.

back in may i had 6 ev 220v charging stations installed in my building and since then have added 6 more for a total of 12. we have volts, leafs, teslas, prius, and soon the porsche electric car . shit has just took off in regards to electric cars. in california they are all over
only drawback with these electric cars is they have no spare tire because of the weight. not a big fan of that

Are the manufacturer's seriously using 'weight' as the argument? What does a spare tire weight? 60-70? If I remember right, the curb weight on his S is just over 4500, which is at least 500 more than my G8. I don't think a spare tire is going to break anything.
Finally got a new car... Not what I wanted but makes more sense for the fam as whole. Traded in my 04 SRX for a '10 with 26k miles. Only thing missing is me picking up a new Longhorn sticker to put in the back. I am going to miss the V8 in the old one. It had some power for a crossover but the ride on the new one is second to none.
Heres a pic of old vs new...

Right is the 04 the left is 10. Yeah, its mostly for the mrs so that's why its an suv. I was looking at SRT8 challengers and 300's but there no reason for me to have a new car and it be parked at the airport so this was the compromise. Ill try to get some better pics but I really do like it.

I have to admit. Im in love with it. The interior is plush, heated and cooled seats up front, heated in the back, has plenty of pep, and the factory 20's look pretty decent on it. Bose sound system, 40 GB hardrive and since its front wheel drive it handles like a mofo around corners. I have no shame pimpin this around town.

Why would you have shame? Those rides are nice. Besides, happy wife = happy life.
