We tried to win it the past couple seasons with speed and defense and failed.

Now we will try with better pitching, power, and a new division!

So honest question, what's the worst non-Omaha team to win a championship?

Ahhh. Opening day may be a few sims away but the schedule is set and I can smell the fresh cut Beef in the butcher shop...

Montreal to open the season playing in Omaha where they will look to ground that Beef, yo.

I dunno Jaque Jones (J.J.) Taylor is pretty legit. Was Omaha's team really that bad?

Cookeville actually won less games than Omaha the year they won it all. Granted, just two less, but still less. I wasn't around when Omaha won it so can't really say how that team was player wise.

I vaguely remember Houston's team not being all that strong... I might be wrong though

George won then recruited me so I heard all about how great his team was. I miss talking Fake Baseball with him, his wife would look at us and shake her head, we admittedly said that we knew more about our fake players than some of the MLB'ers. That was back in the Wayne Washington days!

after rechecking, just the fact they made it is more surprising than any title.....

Omaha had to go thru New York, New England, Chicago and Cincinnati. All the series went the distance except for the one with Chicago.

Omaha may have been the Rudy that year but the team came together during that post season and beat some of the best teams that year

someone sign Morgan Moore! he is awesome since he left Omaha.....
