As an officer attempted to arrest one of the demonstrators, other protesters allegedly interfered, the union said. Budworth used his police-issued baton to "push" a demonstrator, causing the person to fall to the ground, the union said. Thinking the person was going to get back up "to re-engage", Budworth allegedly tried to push the person again with his baton but "accidentally struck" the person in the head, according to the union.
Police at the time declared the protest a riot, saying that traffic was blocked, the Multnomah Building was vandalized, and several fires were set. As police tried to disperse the crowd, they were struck with projectiles, the department said in a release

DA comes out with the Cuomo findings. They found credible evidence that he did in fact sexually harass women and provided a hostile work place.
President Biden, Nanci, Schumer among top democrats saying he should resign.
In other political news, CNN and Fox News led off the 6pm (EST) hour with the story., which included the A and B block (first two segments) It only took 45 minutes for MSNBC to finally give it 5 minutes of coverage.
Will definitely watch Coumo Prime Time tonight. I'm pretty sure Chris will not be the one giving the news this evening, he was included in the findings by the DA.

I was actually being serious. I didn't hear anything or see him fall. Was it because the SS Agent pointed him in the right direction when he was on the sidewalk? If so, ho-hum.....and I'm not a fan of him at all.

Stupid shit like this is why we are out of the top ten in reading/math/science compared to other countries

The tests that states require for graduation are apples to oranges comparisons to other countries. The suspension of state tests are due to the comprehensive topics that are on these tests will be very diffict to pass with the amount of lost time over the last year and a half. This is not why we are out of the top ten.

We've been out of the top 10 for quite a while
I would suggest you ask the other countries you are referring to to expand their testing to ALL students then. We really aren't as bad as you think.

I don't even know that I fully understand the situation but as I do understand it, Biden basically pulled the troops with no warning. Problem is, there are US citizens still there who are now stuck with no protection. To not have a coordinated plan to keep them safe while removing troops is indefensible if that's truly what happened here.
