And Tfan, I am. I'm happy for my FRIENDS who are UofL fans, many of them weren't alive the last time they won, or they were too young to remember it. I remember the relief of waiting 14 years that came off last year, so I'm happy they get to feel that. It's the moron fans (the ones firing off guns left and right downtown and in the west end right now, it's apparently quite dangerous down there) that I'm not thrilled for, which are the ones that often dress/act like the ones above

Russ Smith should do whatever Luke Hancock wants him to do for a month; he did everything he could to blow both Final Four games for them (the reason I said they wouldn't win) and Hancock--the only player who not only didn't react badly/ill/sick to Ware's injury, but stayed with him the entire time--buried big shot after big shot and saved their asses and was able to undo the damage that Smith did.

One of the biggest things I think that Hancock did that few realize and that may have won the title for them.....in the final minute of the Duke game, he intentionally cleared out to allow the walkon Henderson to get an open three in the corner, and he nailed it. Was the first shot he'd hit the whole tournament. He was the guy who had to take over for Ware now that he was hurt. If Hancock doesn't do that for him and help him get that little confidence boost, not sure if he is able to have the game he has against WSU. His two threes in the 2nd half cut their lead from 12 to 6 and was a huge reason they won that game. Smith and Siva and Dieng will get the most headlines, but Hancock won the title for them.

I'll also say as much as I dislike UofL, I have liked few players more than I like Dieng. He is truly a first-class human being and player, he's one of the most respectful kids I've ever seen.

Yes, I'm sure UK doesn't have any fans like that. Between games UK fans volunteer at homeless shelters, save cats who are stuck in trees, and attend weekly book clubs to discuss the works of the great renaissance writers.

Around 1 year ago, almost to the day, late on a Monday night, somewhere in Kentucky, some Louisville fan was posting on a message board, and posted a couple of pics of UK fans and notified everyone that this is the type of people he would have to deal with the next day.

I have to agree, what better way to get girls over to your tailgate, throw in some alcohol and a RV, shit , who needs to go to the game. Magic happens in the parking lot

But it's classless. UK fans would never condone such tawdry behavior and the unseemly human riff-raff that it attracts. UK fans prefer to sip Chardonnay, not watch her writhe around half naked in a parking lot. After all, this is the institution that claims such esteemed gentlemen as DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins and America's answer to P.W. Botha, Adolph Rupp.
