Russell Wilson is smug?
say what?
yeah I don't see that either.
I also don't agree with Coug tho
I understand you make your own luck blah blah blah. But the seahawks were lucky to win that one IMO
Like the guys were saying a lot of wtf plays
I dint understand the slide after the INT at all. The guy on the onside kick jumping in front of Jordy Nelson only to not get a hand on it and play it off his face ( I could be wrong but I swear it looked like before the kick Nelson was telling them what I have to assume was "clear everyone out and i'll get it"), then the GB guy not playing the ball on the 2 point conversion that seemed to float in the air for an eternity.
Seahawks are a great team, no doubt. IMO though, GB choked that one away

He just seems very fake to me. Maybe the only thing I could compare it to is the way people felt about Tebow? His press conferences and commercials and such just seem very fake and like he's trying to act high and mighty. I have a friend that works for the seahawks and he said that all the stories about russell staying late and coming in early and studying etc are true, so I'm not doubting his work ethic at all, just seems to try too hard to make people like him.
Maybe he's actually the best teammate ever, and a tremendously selfless leader and blah blah. But to me it just seems fake and because of that he comes off very smug to me. That's all.

Can both teams lose the super bowl? That would be great.

To be fair, I think I can safely say there's not a non-Seahawks fan in the world who would take Russell Wilson over every QB in the league.

Not that I wish injury on someone, but if Brady's knee got hurt right there up 38 in the late fourth, I'd have laughed at Bellichek.

They are fake, just like basically every other QB, they do it on purpose because the way the media will run with any little story they can make up from their quotes.

I understand what seeit means
Wilson has a little Arod/Tiger Woods in his interviews, press conferences. Although with some personality

Luck, 2nd place isn't close, whoever it may be.

Thanks for helping explain it. You kinda helped me put my finger on an example that I couldn't quite do.
By no means do I think he's a bad person, player, etc, just not a fan of his persona.
But seriously... can we find a way to have both teams lose?

not a fan of his persona? and comparing him to Tebow as if thats a bad thing?
WTF is going on here.
remind me never to get into any business ventures with seeit.
there are good people in the world, ya know. some people are more professional than others. that doesn't mean they are fake or acting or anything. some people take their jobs seriously or just have square personalities.

Glad to get a good super bowl matchup though. Should be very entertaining.
Was hoping a Broncos-cowboys but

Do you read? I'm saying maybe it's the way that people felt about Tebow. I like Tebow, and thought people were crazy for hating on him. I basically suggested that I wasn't sure why I didn't like Wilson, and that I probably shouldn't feel this way.
I never once said he's a bad person. He's clearly professional. I just feel like he "sells" it to make people like him.

Damn, I was just gonna pitch you a joint golf event management/finance venture too. Guess I'll shred all that paperwork I had drawn up

Lol. Yea, it's gonna be a good game though.
I'll actually be in phoenix during the pro bowl and super bowl for work. Will be interesting to see the atmosphere. Could be fun, could be annoying, depending on how it effects or doesn't effect work.

Was he faking all the crying at the end of the game? You people are insane. I thinks he's a real pro. Id take him over Luck right now. And to say the choice isn't at least close is ludicrous IMO.

Lmao at all of you. He REALLY goes to Children's hospital to visit kids with Cancer. He divorced his wife because she was unfaithful, and she probably did it because he gives up all of his own personal time for others. If someday he makes a mistake and goes against his image that he created then I will eat my words, but Jesus, "he's fake" is the stupidest comment I've heard about Wilson. 3 years in the league, ummm :37 seconds from 3 straight NFC championships and now 2 straight superbowls. Like I said to shel, I'm not necessarily saying he is elite but I will still take him over your guy. Team is built on defense and the run game, and both of those won the game with 5 minutes of magic from Wilson. I know I'm not going to convince anyone, but to question his character just because he "seems fake" is ridiculous

You wouldn't, and it's not close.
