With Rodgers, you have to let them score and try to tie it with your one timeout.

Every week, it is the same things costing the Lions a win.
* Raiola with a holding penalty
* Pettigrew with a drop
* Jonathan Wade with a missed tackle
* Jonathan Wade with a missed tackle again
* QB-of-the-moment fumbles on final drive

he's still the backup in Houston, he got paid so they must think somewhat highly of him. I believe i heard he was still listed about Leinart on the depth chart, but i have no idea if thats true.

well i mean we should be 1-2 but besides that every lions fan is pretty happy with what is happening. get stafford back, smith back, and our offense is legit. defense is so much better, and your boy suh is a beast already

Apparently, the 18-game season is a done deal.
I have no idea how I feel about this change.

they'll need to expand the rosters and you're going to see any team that isn't in running back by committee will be there VERY quickly.
i dont mind it as i like more games but you can just throw the old season record books out the window

Why do they want an extra game? I just do not see the point besides owners wanting more money.
And what happens when the colts clinch week 14 and they rest the starters for over a month.

#1 - You nailed it. Follow the money.
#2 - LOL! You are right. The good news is that you won't see that too often with 18 games, just like you don't see teams resting guys in Week 12.

It's actually two extra games.
Ray Lewis was on SportsCenter today and he does not like it. And if Ray Lewis doesn't like it, I'm afraid to say I do...so keep it at 16!

Other than the obvious fact that more games is good for watching, this really sucks, IMO.
we're gonna see either much more injuries to stars, are many more backups playing during games. Either way, it'll dillute the product, IMO.
I find it hilarious that the NFL is on this big deal with the concussions right now, and then they follow that up with adding 2 more regular season games.
