Jesus, I was just using the term as a slur, I didn't give a fuck about where they were from. The Braves are just idiots and always have been save for Maddux.

Me and AJ talked to today and we both agree that the braves are the best team in baseball. He finally convinced me.

Arizona
Indiana
Virginia x2
gee American baseball players from states that play a lot of baseball

groundbreaking shit here
I got bored so i looked up the Mets.... and they are completely different than the Braves in terms of where there players are from.

"south"
Florida 2
Mississippi
Georgia
Oklahoma
North Carolina

6 players

"non south"
California 7
Texas 6
Pennsylvania 3
Colorado
New Jersey
Illinois
Indiana
Ohio
New York
New Jersey
Minnesota
Connecticut
Virginia

26 players

coincidence? maybe.

edit - ESPN has 40 man rosters up + DL, so thats why its more than 25 guys.

edit again - did Philly wont track it by state but im doing a quick count.. 29 americans (including DL) and 6 from the "south".. so far Atlanta has the highest percentage of Americans from "the south"..

My boss knows the Nats travel guy really well. He hooked us up the other night when we were in Baltimore. They sent a suburban to pick us up in baltimore, drove us to Washington, right into the players lot. We picked up our clubhouse passes, 59/50 nats hats, and tickets for seats in the diamond club (all you can eat, drink, etc, right behind home plate) and walked right to our seats. After the game, we were walking back down to the car, and we saw Strasburg. We asked for a picture, and he obliged. Pretty cool dude. And then we had a good ole "open bar in the car" on the way hom. It was a sweet night... and then Baltimore kicked our asses.

Really cool ballpark too

I don't give a fuck about who you take pictures with. However, I do find it awesome that players from the Browns are all over your Facebook page participating. Now, that is cool.

He's already making moves in the bigs.

He's become the first player since 1921 to steal a base in each of his first 4 games. He's also 4th now on the Reds team in stolen bases this year

The best part, he has zero plate appearances lol. 4 pinch runs, 4 SBs, 3 runs scored.
I said it before... fastest baseball player I've seen since Deion... and maybe faster. He was at it again last night.

"Reds rookie speedster Billy Hamilton stole four bases Wednesday night against the Astros in a 6-5 Reds victory. According to Elias Sports Bureau, he's the first player in the live ball era (since 1920) to do so in his first career start."

I go to MLB.com every night to watch Reds highlights. I look through the list and see if there are any Billy Hamilton highlights. I think one game didn't have one.

The Arizona Diamondbacks kindly asked the Dodgers not to celebrate on their field if they clinched... the Dodgers were nice and obliged. They opted for a pool party...

Keep in mind, these 2 teams got into a pretty big brawl this season. I'm sure the first series they have next year will have some fireworks. :-)
