I hope they never fix the importing a draft class screen. That is so absolutely fucked up that I laugh every single time. Press okay or cancel and it says pick yes or no.The_Niddler wrote:Roggie wrote:Have done multiple times. HIgh end guys should NOT have major variances. I get a random player that one scout thinks is great while others don't (and doesn't have the stats to match it or plays against super weak competition, like a Joey Votto in real life), but top 10 projected guys should never be seen as a 20/30 by some scouts.The_Niddler wrote:wdoupis wrote:I think the last guy who got fined was Roggie and I talk to him quite a bit and he is the first one I go to when there is some weird OOTP issue as he has a ton of knowledge and works with the OOTP beta team.
Had no idea Roggie works with the beta team.
Roggie, tell them to fix this shit with the scout variances.
As has been mentioned several times, I get that 1 scout may see a player as a 20/80 potential and then another will see him as a 20/65 potential.
Or maybe the HR hitting where 1 scout may see a guy as having HR potential as 75 and the next sees him as having HR potential as 60, but how in the hell does one scout see him having HR potential as 75 and another will see him as having 3?
I mean, you know if a guy is a HR hitter or not. I get that not every scout will rate his HR potential as the exact same number, but it has to be closer than what the game does.
I definitely don't think 60 to 75 potential for one stat is a huge difference, especially on the 1-100 scale, but it's the 1 for one person and 78 for another that is absolutely insane.
Can you also tell them to fix the little stupid shit...
Like when you pull in exports and then have to hit cancel. The button should say OK, not cancel.
Same thing when you import a draft class. It is confusing as there is an OK and a Cancel button.

What the hell...Houston is 11-2 and ranked #2?? I mean...I knew we would be a little better but nothing like this.
Yes...I know it's early but I don't recall the last time I had a winning record much less was ranked #2 overall. So..gonna soak it up and cross our fingers that the wheels don't completely fall off

Not sure if this is the sign this draft sucks or not (by my scout). Click the draft pool released message and click on first guy, Billy Williams. My scout shows him as a 20/29 guy and OSA has him as a 20/63

One of these years we'll start the season on a roll instead of always having to dig ourselves out of a hole...

Feels like every draft is the new worst draft ever, but this one truly is.
1 blue rated player. 42 total blue/green rated players by OSA, 36 by my scout. That # was routinely 200+ in previous drafts.

0 blue, 8 green for me. 3 greens are relievers. Only 4 of said greens are also green with OSA, 2 being RPs.shel311 wrote:Feels like every draft is the new worst draft ever, but this one truly is.

9 blue and a shit ton green. But then I look at their stats and know I have to do a bunch of homework.
Take for instance C Jose Ramos (20/54 by my scout and 20/30 OSA). Dude's hitting .113. I may just sort by stats and not even look ratings. This is the one thing I absolutely hate about the scouting.

Weirdest scouting report I've ever seen. Literally cannot make contact with anything or avoid striking out, but man does he know that strike zone well.

He'll have 100 pitch at bats as he keeps fouling the ball offRoggie wrote:
