Can only play who's in front of you Jorge!
agree, I like playing a hard schedule at the end of the season. It's usually our playoffs, but this time we actually get to play in the playoffs afterwards. Exciting times in Beef-land.

And Stead took his rightful place atop the leaderboard in Batting Average. He also has a decent shot at breaking the doubles record this season, on pace for 64 and the record is 63. Also has a decent shot to break the hits record, on pace for 261 hits and the record is 259.

The doubles single season record is the oldest record for hitters, Francisco Vargas hit 63 in 2014.
He also has a shot at the most singles by a 1B ever in a season. Does he even bench?

Hell no he doesn't bench! I'll throw him at DH if he gets tired, but he pretty much plays every day (144 of 149 games...missed a week with a sprained ankle)

One of the top teams in the league has a powerless hitter in the 2 spot???

I need to start paying attention/exporting again

I think if he sets the singles record for 1B someone should attend every game he plays next season and ring a bell chanting "Shame, Shame, Shame" whenever he comes up to bat.

File is up; Reports and S+ to follow.

Tomorrow is the final sim of the season. If there are any division deciding games (looking unlikely) I will stream them on our Twitch channel.

Once the season is over I can sim playoffs once all teams are exported. I'd like to set a time to give guys a chance to watch as they will be streamed on the Twitch channel again. I'll check with Billy to see if we can use Zoom just to chat about lineups etc.

News and Awards
Philip Jessup (Cookeville) wins NL PotW
Terence Stead (Omaha) wins AL PotW
Hector Sanchez (Hollywood) reaches 32g on his hit streak (and counting)

Jerry Sparks (Moose Jaw) has his home robbed...what a shitty place to live

I mean it's not impossible but pretty unlikely IMO. Still could be a juicy final week.

I almost unloaded Lou Ortiz last night and retained 40%.

I got rid of him for free today.

You’re welcome!

He will probably opt out but worth the risk for a playoff run and still performing as an “iron man”.

We are so desperate for pitching in Prosper we got Eric Howard and now this.

Insert Rambo gif

Very slim chance we pull this off. As we are not road warriors and WF is scorching.

Don't know how I missed this but Quinton McCraw could possibly win the Triple Crown.

Leads the AL in ERA by .26 and strikeouts by 9 and is second place in wins- he has 16 currently while three other guys have 17.

He should get the opportunity to pitch twice this upcoming sim.

Don't believe he is eligible for playoffs for your team since he wasn't on the team in the 1st.

With 7 doubles this past week Stead has broken the all time mark. He sits at 66 with a week to play. He is now 6 hits away from tying that mark .
