Are they not just shorting the pre season by two games and making them regular season games?

from what i've understood thats correct. shortening the preseason and making 18 regular season games.
but guys dont actually play in the preseason so its alot more wear and tear on the body when you have to play 18 real games.

Yeah, I get the extra wear and tear on the body. It's just a money move. Why play meaningless games when you can make them count and get a higher tv rating.

The Herald – Jaguars wide receiver Kassim Osgood had to leap out a second-floor window late Monday to escape a gun-wielding man who had attacked him and a 19-year-old Roar cheerleader he was visiting in a Jacksonville home… Mackenzie Rae Putnal and Osgood, 30, were watching television in a second-floor game room just before 11:15 p.m. when a man walked in with his face covered with a plastic bag and pointed a gun at them. Exclaiming that “I can’t believe you’re with that guy,” he pulled Putnal around the room by her hair and hit her with gun and fists before hitting Osgood in the head with the weapon too, the arrest report said. The gunman took the woman’s cell phone and tackled her when she tried to flee, holding the gun to her head as well as Osgood’s and also hitting her dog several times. When ordered to sit on the floor, Putnal escaped down a hall and leaped over the balcony to the floor below, the report said. The gunman ran after her, so Osgood jammed a chair under the game room door handle and jumped out a window to the lawn below, running to a neighbor’s house to call police. Meanwhile, Bartletto and Putnal confronted each other downstairs with guns. The woman targeted him with her laser sight before both shot at each other and missed.

Fucking awesome.
More guys should be like that when facing the same stupid questions over and over.
All this talk over Vick after 2 games is ridiculous.

Apparently, this Bartletto just appears from the woods with a fucking scoped pistol and starts shooting.

lol from tmz...
In the police report, obtained by TMZ, Osgood and the cheerleader -- Mackenzie Rae Putnal -- describe the alleged attack by Julian Armond Bartletto at her Jacksonville home Monday night.
According to the report, Bartletto first pistol-whipped Osgood and Putnal, then held them at gunpoint -- and told her, "Suck my d**k and suck his d**k."
Shortly after that police say Osgood fled by jumping out a 2nd floor window, while Putnal and Bartletto exchanged gunshots.
Bartletto, an ex-boyfriend of Putnal, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery, false imprisonment, armed robbery, and burglary -- and he's still in jail.

I'm still amazed that a good looking cheerleader has a gun with a laser sight on it, LOL. Still weird that don't at least mention at any point that she had the gun, or picked up the gun. It's just all of a sudden, she's shooting.

Ya know, Senaca Wallace might be an NFL QB after all. This is the second time he has played well as a fill-in starter.
