I honestly don't know how he stays employed or why anyone listens to a word that comes out of his mouth.

You all are acting like ence is crazy or something with his information. It was everywhere.
The over magnification of the hate for ence continues around these parts.

I am just busting his balls.
I understand Miles is on his way out. It is no secret.

I'm nervous. You can't fire Miles unless you have a proven guy you know you're gonna get.
I don't see who that guy is. Jimbo is the most likely but he could just use us for a bit raise with FSU.

That is why I didn't like the firing of Bo Pelini last year.
You fire a guy who has won a championship and gone to bowl games year in and year out you have to go for the huge splash with a big name guy.

Disagree, Pelini and Miles...apples and oranges.

I'm talking about a successful coach being fired without a big name ready to be hired. Pelosi was one of 4 or 5 coaches that won 9 games during his coaching tenure

Awesome stuff with Les Miles, emotional stuff, almost teary eyed.
Carried off the the field. They're chanting his name or something after the game.
But...the offense still sucked

So 2 spots now looked locked up for the playoffs. Oklahoma and the Michigan St./Iowa winner. Alabama just has to beat a terrible looking Florida team. Clemson has to beat a UNC team that's played no one.
Seems too simple. I would think UNC moves up to #9 or #10 this ranking. If they knock off Clemson, do they get the 4 seed over Ohio State?

LSU AD says Les Miles will remain the coach.
Joe Schad, you poor, poor thing.
Then of course the feed went out on the press conference, FML!!!

The AD could have come out and said this and squashed all these rumors long ago but he waited till tonight.
To me, that can mean only one thing, he made a serious run at another coach, probably Jimbo, and failed.
It's kind of contradictory my thought process in that he's basically doing what I said he should do which is to keep Miles if we don't get the guy we want...but on the other hand, I feel like he hasn't exactly handled this well by allowing this to get wayyyyyyy out of hand. I'm not sure he had many options though.

Florida cannot throw the ball with Treon Harris so Alabama should win by about 50.

The SEC just isn't good.
Top non-conference wins... UNC (by South Carolina), BYU (by Missouri), Arizona State (by Texas A&M), Wisconsin (by Alabama)... That's it for wins vs Power 5 teams with .500 or better records.
They need to standardize scheduling and force 9 game conference schedules across the Power 5. At least the rankings are starting to punish teams for scheduling nothing but cupcakes OOC.
Have a 9 game conference schedule, 1 game vs another Power 5 team, 1 group of 5 team and 1 cupcake or shitty group of 5 team.
