i think you're watching too closely, these games mean nothing. they won't be giving Nando de Colo, Blair, Bonner and Cory Joseph minutes like they have been in the playoffs

Start of the playoffs, Miami vs the field, who you got?

It's hard to think they don't have at least a 50% chance to win the title as of right now.

And on another note, despite the injury, what an awesome rookie season for Anthony Davis. Lebron better win all the titles he can, the Pelicans are taking over!!!!!

Youre watching closely as well, I see. ;)

I believe youre right. But Diaw is out for the first round and Manu n Parker are both sketchy. Timmy D is averaging a Double-Double this season, WOW. The old man has game. If his counterparts can step it up, they MAY have a shot.

really tough call on Miami vs field.

i have no idea who i'd take given those options.

as for Davis, i think he's a monster. he just needs to get stronger so he can stay healthy for 82.

*The Lakers are 5 attempts per game above their season average in the last three games, while the Jazz are 10 attempts below their season average in the last three games....Coincidence?

*Utah dead last out of all 30 NBA teams in free throws attempted last three games. Lakers first

*The last Golden State-Lakers game the Lakers won by 2 after they had 50 ft attempts compared to 16 for the warriors.

*In that same game, one ref called 19 fouls on the Warriors and 0 on the Lakers.

*April: Lakers 177 FTA, opponents, 87.

the NBA is a joke. cant believe people actually invest time in this league.

Do you invest time in the NFL?

You think it's completely different in other sports?

the differences in those numbers is something....that said, with or without Kobe the Lakers dont get out fo round 1. NBA wont have a probelm selling AD time regardless who is playing

ya of course. but i mean, seeing numbers like that, and knowing that calling fouls is a key component of the game, it just sucks knowing that right now not only does Utah have to beat the other team, it appears they have to beat the refs too

I actually got into a huge argument on this forum I'm on, saying the Lakers will actually do better without Kobe and Dwight as their #1. 1st game without Kobe Dwight dominated (sure against higher min scrubs in SA) and ball distribution seemed better as 5 players had double digit FGA. I could be insanely wrong but whatever

i'll take this one.

I get the idea that he can be a volume scorer, but he's the 3rd most efficient player in their offense.

As great a season as he had, and he played extremely well offensively,it just seems like a bit much to have a shot disparity that wide where the 3rd most efficient guy takes more shots than #1 and #2 combined. More Nash/Dwight pick and rolls!!!

Admittedly, I've probably watched all of 2 Lakers games in the 2nd half of the season lol.

if the Lakers had no other similar options to Kobe, it'd be devastating. but they have great talent around them that can easily absorb the usage that Kobe takes.

whether they are better or not is a pointless question. they have enough to absorb it for sure. but if Kobe plays at his best, they are clearly better with Kobe.
