Why wouldn't you be able to access your whole battery capacity? That's like me having a 23 gallon fuel tank but only able to put in 16 gallons.

Computers apparently do a lot of similar stuff with memory or some shit. The hardware is the same, but you pay more and they just open up ore access.

it hasn't had meaningful action in it since 2016, its just been in a huge range the last couple years. all noise

At some point you gotta wonder if Tesla is better off with an actual businessman running the company and just letting Elon do the genius stuff he does.
