Why was fox even bothering? It was an NBC game. Thank god CBS didn't bring in Carey. He's the absolute worst.

The worst part for me was that the play took me from 4-4 to 1-7 on the night, in an instant
Shortest TD under 1.5 yds +130
Seahawks pickem 2H -110
Seahawks -1 -110
Add to that the fact that Gronk caught a 22 yd TD.....and I took longest Gronk catch O 22.5 yds
Not a happy camper about that playcall at all

Fun game to watch.
I am not going to get into whether they should have thrown or run. I thought it was a great INT.
You have to be a man to tackle Lynch. They guy is an animal.

You have to sign one of these free agent running backs, who ya taking?
Marshawn lynch-28---mild nutcase tendencies
Demarco Murray-26---oft injured
Adrien Peterson-29---well, ya know

Probably none of em at the price they want.
But if I had to, I'm taking Lynch.

I think whoever signs AD can get him for cheaper than market value, and I am sure there will be a "save the teams ass" clause in there about abuse so they wont have to pay him. If they can do it.
So if you can get Peterson for cheaper I would go with him. If not, then Lynch and deal with his personality.

I find it odd when Carroll was in charge at USC the biggest play of his career his heisman winner wasn't even in the game and they blew it.
Then yesterday you have the leading TD scorer in the league and you throw a pass with a pretty poor design to it if you ask me. When Wilson was in gun, I was blown away. I'm still shocked lynch didn't get another carry there and I have no dog in the fight .......

I'm not backing off of my assessment that this is the worst call in the history of calls, but I will back off of the pass vs run option. They basically had 3 plays left, with at least 1 option to run(1 timeout left). So whether they ran on 2nd or 3rd down probably didn't matter THAT much.
I would have been much more ok with a play action fake Lynch, where Wilson rolls out on the run to either pass, run it in, or throw it away. Granted, if he threw an INT there, i'd still gripe that they shoulda ran, but I don't think it would have been as bad as a call to throw inside like that, throwing within the hashes is always the most dangerous pass, even if the likelihood of the INT there was so slim.

I understand Carroll's reasoning for passing because the personnel didn't match up. What I don't understand, is why he somehow thought that they wouldn't be in a goalline D inside the 1 yard line. Why the hell would they not come out with a goalline D inside the 1??? Odds are in the offense's favor that they score more times on that slant play than throwing a pick.

Same reason he blew a timeout at USC when Texas took the lead late up by one and he didn't think they would go for two to go up by 3

That's 3 runs... there is no other option. You have an RB named BeastMode... not Reggie Bush.

There were so many serious, downright depressing ads during a fun event like the super bowl that no one looks forward to the commercials anymore.
That nationwide one was just terrible and the last thing I want to do is watch an ad about my kid dying while eating my pork butt sandwich!!

I didnt like the playcall. However, its not 100% they would have scored had they run. I think he would have, but its not 100% is all I am saying.
If you are going to pass, why to the inside in traffic?
