NBA's official DPOY Ladder:
1.) Giannis Antetokounmpo
2.) Rudy Gobert
3.) Mikal Bridges
- - -
(The next 5, no order)
- Draymond Green
- Marcus Smart
- Jaren Jackson Jr.
- Bam Adebayo
- Herbert Jones
Herb Jones! 2nd round rookie.

Kyrie had 41 points at the half tonight.
51 mid 3rd but he likely won't go back in I'd think after the 3rd.
This after KAT dropped 60 last night.

JJJ, Bam and Bridges should be the top 3 although I’d be fine with Giannis over Bridges

Bam missed like 15 games or so. based on his body of work when healthy he deserves the recognition but he probably missed too many to be a top contender, imo

I'm biased, but I'd take Jaren Jackson Jr. I don't get to watch a lot of games (maybe 5 - 7 a week), but when I do 70% of them are Grizzly games

Didn't they say he was officially out for the year?

No. Shams said he's not expected to return.
Most people think, and I'd certainly agree, Zion didn't randomly put this out there, so folks are speculating on why he did. Not only did he post it but a member of Pels media was privy to his plan and told everyone to watch his IG story today. Could be nothing but speaks to there being some sort of plan for doing so.
Could be nothing, could be Zion just wanting some positive PR from the "he's fat" narrative, could be Zion pressuring the team to let him return before the season ends

And there's already speculation he does want to return from a Pels beat writer.
Christian Clark
@cclark_13
Zion posted a video of him dunking at the Pelicans' practice facility Tuesday night.
He has told people around him his surgically repaired right foot feels good and he wants to play, but with only 10 regular-season games remaining, his return is unlikely.

If he doesn't figure out the diet part of being a professional it's not going to be good for him. He's young now where it's easy to get rid of that weight, but as we all KNOW it's more of a pain in the ass to drop lb's once you start getting older. If he can figure that out, he'll be an okay NBA player. He'll never be elite until he can figure out how to shoot the ball and extend his defender away from the paint (not that it really matters much cuz if he gets in the paint he is scoring).
The pure athleticism of Zion is something I don't think I have ever seen at his size. Shaq always amazed me with his athleticism for a 7 footer, but he wasn't jumping 4 feet off the ground.

He was elite his 20 year old season.

Well, it's good to see you've admitted at least once of your nonsensical posts about Zion before he came into the NBA was wrong.

So you are considered elite if you had one great year? Asking for Jeremy Lin (yes I know Zion's season was much better than Lin's and he most likely won't be a one hit wonder).
When are you going to admit that Zion wasn't the best player in the draft? Hell, he wasn't the best player from Duke in that class at this point. Had he not gone to NO, you'd probably be on board with me here.

Just wait til he gets to the NBA where every player is an elite athlete.... Just wait!!!

Not a fan of Kyrie, but he should have been playing home games for a couple of months now. If they are letting fans in without the vax, he should have been playing this whole time. Fucking Faucci

Ja will be top 4 in MVP voting
JJJ will be top 3 in DPOY
Taylor Jenkins should be Coach of the year
Brandon Clarke should be top 10 in 6th MOTY
This Grizz team is fun to watch! 2nd best record right now behind the Suns

Apparently Jimmy Butler said something to insinuate fighting Spo, Spo responded and said, "I'm not going to fucking fight you" aaaand then Udonis Haslem almost ended Jimmy Butler.
Haslem to Jimmy: "I'll beat your ass. I'll beat the fuck out of you"
Notice how quickly Jimmy Butler got as far away as he possibly could, smart man.

Extended version. Play was ready to resume and Spo was still on the court ripping into Jimmy. Man, I'd love to hear what all was said in that entire sequence.
