you draft well. you just trade everyone away instead of waiting. the league isnt going nowhere. you can take a 5 yr window and let them fully dev and have financial control instead of filling Bostons cupboards.

In fairness, I couldn't have drafted all that well given that I basically did what you stated and waited for 10 straight seasons and finished .500 basically every season.

It wasn't until last season I decided to sell the prospects for ML guys as the model of not trading prospects wasn't panning out either.


With the Miguel Rivera trade, only 1 of the prospects I gave up is an elite prospect, Jim Gray. There's still no guarantee on how good he'll be, but Miggy is a legit 7 WAR guy...or was at the time of the trade, he's not doing very well this season lol.

Also, if Richard Todd were healthy, I think Sheltown be a pretty clearcut best team in the AL...cue Billy.

Without Todd I still think you are better than Billy but I already told him that.

You crazy kids will say anything. Sheltown is not better than Richmond with or without Todd although it is much much closer than when he made these declarations in previos seasons
