This sounds fantastic. Did you finish all the GOT books?

I am in the middle of the first one and it is playing out exactly like season 1 which isn't a bad thing as it is refreshing my memory and the level of detail is fantastic. I read a few chapters, then rewatch the episodes. It's pretty awesome.

Yeah, I finished all the GoT books. These prequels are also written by Martin. I guess they'd technically be called novellas since they're much shorter than a regular novel.

Adding it to the list. Good to know!

It's rough reading as I never buy books and download them digitally but wanted the GOT collection. The font is so damn small and the books are like 800 pages

Actually, I have these three books in a zip file and they are easily loaded onto a tablet for use with any reading app.....

No, it couldn't even hold up against itself. It was unwatchable by the time the final series came.

how can you make a comment like this when there is next to no possible chance you'd have enough info to make an educated comment on this?

you could be best friends with the president of the foundation and there is no possible way of knowing how they are handling their finances.

Because they're transparent with their finances, which is part of why they have a 4-star rating

At least the first season that I tried to watch. Worse than Seinfeld even.
Its definitely worse the second time around thus far. I always took it as a very superficial show and cheap entertainment, which it certainly is. Entourage and Weeds were probably the first two shows that I watched regularly from beginning to end, and as Ive watched more good television perhaps my standards have changed. I still like the show, just maybe not as much as I thought?

Best way the show was ever described to me:

It's a show about douchebags, starring douchebags, and enjoyed by douchebags.

Maybe so

But their finances show that not one penny of their overhead or salary comes from donations. Again, the endowment they've invested and built up has enabled that.

Plus, anybody that knows or has met Bobby V would know he wouldn't use his brother's name to make a buck for himself.

I don't think it's near that bad. I still may be a douchebag though

Should I? :-P

And no, not everyone that watches the show is a douchebag. But every douchebag who watches it loves it.

One of my favorite 30 Rock lines ever
If you want to save this dumb show you gotta get the fans involved. You know, like sometimes people mail stuff to networks to show how passionate they are. They sent light bulbs to save Friday Night Lights, hot sauce to save Roswell, and douche bags to save Entourage.

We have 2 teams from my hospital participating in this community event. Sort of like the Olympics if you will for multiple events.

Cool part is I hung out with Marcus Spears all day so far as he is one of the "celwbrity" coordinators.

Dude is a monster. He lives in Frisco and little did I know he's a big hunter. Weird
