Not sure why, but I just cannot get into MMA.
I feel this way about almost every match.
I see a good one here and there, but not enough to get me into it.

Obvious hometown bias but Frankie Edgar got concussed and couldn't keep his balance versus Gray Maynard in the first round and then he goes onto last the entire fight in a pretty epic comeback... Not sure how he's snoozeville
And love em hate em, McGregor has to be good for the sport with all the attention he's generating

That was one fight, like 5 years ago. He's one of the most boring fighters ever, IMO. He has a black belt in lay and pray.DRWebs wrote:Obvious hometown bias but Frankie Edgar got concussed and couldn't keep his balance versus Gray Maynard in the first round and then he goes onto last the entire fight in a pretty epic comeback... Congrats. He got a first round win for the first time in about 10 years. He's had 19 fights in the UFC. He's finished 5 and one of those was with 4 seconds left. I stand by my previous statement.DRWebs wrote:Lay and pray with a first round knockout, good call champ

This is a great card tonight. I'm going with Aldo, Rockhold, Jacare, Maia, Holloway, Faber. Who ya got?

Exactly what u have, although a little worried about Faber. He looked drawn out at the weigh ins, as did Connor.autiger730 wrote:This is a great card tonight. I'm going with Aldo, Rockhold, Jacare, Maia, Holloway, Faber. Who ya got?
Rockholt is a beast and Weidman isn't going to be able to push him around like his previous opponents, Luke is just as big as him.
Really want to see Max get his title shot next year, if he wins he deserves at least a title eliminator bout with the loser from tonight.
After last night's performance Ferguson deserves a title eliminator but as well. One of my favorite fighters at 155

I think Aldo doesn't have a good chance of taking him down. The only way I see him beating Conor is if he catches him with a hard punch on the feet and follows it up with a flurry. If Conor can keep range and avoid the big shot, he's the favorite for a decision or using his technique/unique style to get a KO.
