Any Ohio State fans have opinions on Ash the proposed new head coach for Rutgers? They listed him as Co defensive coordinator which must be a new fad having multiple coordinators but find it hard to believe that makes a good coach in waiting

Cokers TD pass into double maybe even triple coverage put this game away, UFs offense is really really bad

On a positive note these defenses are top notch

It's like I was pulling for Florida which is painful and then I'm not. I'd love to see a Bama-OU matchup in round 1.

He's really good at what he does (Defense), but I'm not sure how that translates to being a head coach. I also don't know if his style (heavy man press coverage) is going to work at Rutgers. He's going to need a quality OC to succeed, that's for sure.

My understanding of why he was Co-DC is because the other Co was Luke Fickell, the guy that stepped up and took over a few years back after Tressell and before Urban. But Urban wanted to switch up the defensive scheme, which is why Ash was brought on.

I'd assume at this point, that the scheme is installed and Fickell will just take over duties full-time.

Risky move milking the clock the entire possession by Sparty but it may pay off.

I'd put MSU resume against any outside of Clemson. They gave two teams their only losses, plus two other current top 25 teams

i dont think theres any scenario outside the 4 being Clemson, Bama, OU and MSU. comes down to where they rank.

I assume it's Clem vs OU - Orange, Bama vs MSU - Cotton but OU/Bama in the cotton bowl would be crazy
