if we dont fix the ast gm stuff im out. i stopped giving him permission to do anything, and now i have 60 dudes again on my spring training roster and everything i do gets erased by this ast gm.

Why not fire him.....like everyone else? Seems like an easy fix aside from all the damage he's already done

Not sure if this is normal or not, but I've had players getting promoted from my International team, also had my spring training roster expanded by about 10 players, all while NOT having an assistant GM, so maybe there's a bigger issue

At a certain age they automatically get called up I believe. Spring training roster gets expanded to everyone on your 40 man I believe during spring training.

this as well. it's why i have 60 people. All my international guys got called up. But theyre all absolute trash so I sent them all down, and then I come back on today and its a 60 man roster in Spring Training with bums getting playing time. Frustrating.

You need to configure the moves your GM makes and place them to be controlled by you and you only.
And get rid of him as you obviously have it set up for some kind of automatic interaction.

After that I honestly don't know what to tell you from there.

I just checked my setting . . . my ENTIRE organization is controlled by ME . . . no one else. And I have had ZERO issues. I have signed an assistant GM.

Question..... I had a bunch of guys called up for ST as well. While attempting to send them back it is saying out of options must clear waivers bla bla bla. I thought last year when I sent guys down it said something along the lines of "drop from ST roster and back at minor league level." So, do I need to wait longer for this option or am I doing something wrong?

Some guys have used all their options since they may be up in age or have reached a level of time where they no longer have options and must be waived.

This happens to all teams and is normal unless you are saying it is guys that are like 19 or something?

No, it is older guys. For some reason I thought last year there was a different thing I selected and ST invites were treated differently than normal options. Nothing crazy happened to my team, just wanted to make sure I was doing it right to avoid future issues....... Now let's go DJ!!!!!

There will be sometimes that guys leave non roster invitees left on their roster after spring training and they need to be added to the 40 man or waived.

That is later on though.

this is definitely new. this has nothing to do with option yrs. we now can have 60 people on our ST roster and only have 40 man rosters
