working my first ever shift of 4-midnight. This will likely be my new shift for the most part while working in Buffalo.
I'm happy with mine. I have mine in my living room tied into my audio video system. I walk in the house and say "xbox on. xbox watch tv" and then tell it what channel to turn to. I'm too lazy to even reach for the remote now.Cnasty wrote:I saw just last week Best Buy dropped the price of the XBOX1 to $450 totally foiling my plan to buy and resell.Cnasty wrote:I have reward points on my Best Buy card and they are expiring soon.
I thought about buying an XBOX 1 and reselling it as I couldn't think of anything else really.
I can still do it but only at a marginal profit now I guess.
Unless anyone that has one thinks its worth keeping maybe in a game room or something and not as my main game system.
That is the worst shift known to man.Uuaww wrote:working my first ever shift of 4-midnight. This will likely be my new shift for the most part while working in Buffalo.

I thought about a long-winded response, but chose this shorter one: the NFL will be fine. I dislike the current state of the NFL and do think that the game itself is declining. That is because of the NFL's prized possession: their anti-trust status. It is all they care about.dakshdar wrote:Mark Cuban on why the NFL has a 10 year shelf life at this point:

The implosion part is probably overstated, but the rest seems to be a possibility.dakshdar wrote:Mark Cuban on why the NFL has a 10 year shelf life at this point:

It definitely makes sense from the NFL's perspective.packsyd2284 wrote:EDIT: I also think the games being played in England are ridiculously stupid as well.
Def agree with that. They will sell out big stadiums over there for Pittsburgh vs Minnesota where as out here not too many people are going to want to watch it on TV unless it's in a foreign country. I just think personally they are silly.shel311 wrote:It definitely makes sense from the NFL's perspective.packsyd2284 wrote:EDIT: I also think the games being played in England are ridiculously stupid as well.
I agree in theory, but I think there were a couple of instances of goalposts being messed up, and having to delay a couple of games for a bit to fix em, so that would make sense.Cnasty wrote:Now dunking on the goal posts after a TD is a penalty?!?
No fun league indeed!
Jimmy Grahm bent one for sure as did Calvin Johnson I believe. If it delays the game it should certainly be a penalty.shel311 wrote:I agree in theory, but I think there were a couple of instances of goalposts being messed up, and having to delay a couple of games for a bit to fix em, so that would make sense.Cnasty wrote:Now dunking on the goal posts after a TD is a penalty?!?
