The vast majority of schedule strength records I've seen has OU's as tougher than MSU.

1 Clemson vs 4 Oklahoma
2 Alabama vs 3 Michigan State



Bama vs OU title game IMO

Bama a 9 point favorite, and OU is a 2.5 favorite.

Clemson or Oklahoma seem to be a part of every big game that's played in Miami since i've lived here.

If Keenan Reynolds gets invited to the heisman ceremony (he should, especially after ESPN and Nissan fucked with his votes) he'll be taking a helicopter straight from the army-navy game to NYC. Pretty badass way to arrive.

I had Oklahoma as a top 4 team from the start, while most others were on the TCU/Baylor hype train out of the Big 12. I wasn't too accurate with the rest of my thoughts though. I thought we'd see Ohio State and Florida State here. My logic for Florida State pretty much applies to Clemson though.

I think it's going to be Alabama vs Oklahoma. I'm torn on who wins it though. I probably have some kind of bias against Alabama that makes it that way. Each time I watch Henry run, I'm more impressed.

Love Henry not sold on Coker being able to get it done though

As with all Bama QBs under Saban, they don't have to do much other than 1) ball control 2) keep defenses just honest enough and 3) take what defense gives you.


I like the first round matchup. This is by far the best defensive line Bama has had in my lifetime. Would not be surprised if 3 of them go first round this year.

Alabama basically dominated everyone all season. In that loss to Ole Miss, it came down to 5 giveaways vs 0 takeaways... and they still only lost by 6. As much as I may not want it to be true... they are probably the best team and likely champion.

Hell, just typing that tells Richt how much work he has to do if Miami fans fear Washington state. No offense coug.

#4 Quarterback in yards after missing the last game of the season. There are a lot of teams that fear the WSU offense. Sounds like we will be without our leading receiver, but when you throw to 10 receivers in a game, 1 isn't going to make a difference. It will be a fun game to watch, there won't be a ton of defense most likely.

Richt will be in the box with some other coaches so he can see the debacle that is our defense on display.

It is what it is I guess, I wish I could go to the game, I haven't been to a bowl game ever. Missed out on the Rose Bowls and Holiday Bowl when the Cougs were playing at a high level. I'm hoping Leach can put consecutive bowl trips together, that hasn't happened since they beat Texas in the Holiday Bowl a year after they got demolished in the Rose bowl against Oklahoma. We were hoping for the Holiday Bowl, but had to beat UW if we wanted that. In a year that we lost to Portland State and beat UCLA, anything can happen. What is stupid is the Cougs and Huskies play at the same damn time, Cougs in El Paso and Huskies in Dallas.
