Wife(and I) have been counting down for the Y details as she is an SUV person, I am not.

I guess that leads me to another question. Can those other cars currently use the Tesla chargers, or nah?


Basically meaning, if Tesla goes belly up, a Tesla car no longer has the ability to make a road trip?

No other cars can use Tesla’s super chargers due to the proprietary plug.

Tesla always has the ability to make a road trip. The superchargers make it much more convenient though. Tesla can use other charging methods other cars use but not vice versa and would take much longer on a non-supercharger

If I were to get a Tesla, that would probably be the one. Living on an area which periodically gets a lot of lake effect snow, gotta have that extra clearance
