Jorge Mejia was drafted 6th overall in 2037 by Detroit. He did not in fact suffer an injury and lose velocity, merely just never had the stamina to succeed and was never really tried as a SP with the previous Moose Jaw owner being MIA generally speaking. He's a lights out reliever for years to come it would seem
The year prior, Garland Hayes, another turbo knuckler was drafted 8th overall by Texas. He was the #1 overall prospect in 2037, #4 in 2038, and then fell off the face of the earth after that. No major injuries, just a HS flameout

Pretty cool to look at. Surprised there are not more. Shows that late round guys who are always rated high will probably fall off
