Quick thoughts from a few CPU games and 1 game vs. tiger.
- Human DB stick skills can shine.
- Welcome back early NCAA manual juking.
- Hit stick looks to be all or nothing.
- Once a WR is behind the defense, it's over, go get a beer. (East Room should be filled with chuckers)
- Option game is sick... a good suck in to the QB and the RB can run to daylight. Nasty.
- Harder to jump out routes and corners. (or easier to throw... not sure which)
- The middle of the field is a cluster... deep middle on the other hand is easier to throw to.
- Finally... I think tiger and I saw our first 'wtf was that' moment... driving late in the game I tossed a swing pass to my HB... but his rushing DE jumped up, grabbed it, then took off 40+yds for a TD. A real head scratcher. Julius Peppers would be proud.

Seems slow, but I am going to like it I think...
Read Run/Pass debate this season? I haven't used it hardly at all, so not sure

I also enjoy the fact that the CPU takes photos for you after the game so you don't have to waste 5 minutes going back through the big plays to find a highlight picture.

I don't see a reason to commit on a play.. defense seems to play fine without it, IMO

commit adds another element to the game and that's why its fun to play with. It adss the same paper rock siscors guessing game that d -coordinates have on the side lines every play. If a defense guesses right they are rewarded. If not they are burned. Works well

This was crazy>>>>>>>>I actually have done it now twice....And it isn't even me...it is the computer...I am not controlling him but he gets up field and then picks off the swing pass and runs runs runs all the way home

It will never happen in season trust me....But it was pretty wild to say the least when it happened...

lol, thats what i was gonna say
ive had my ass handed to me and still yet defense has never been a problem which is weird even for me
not knocking it, just saying it seems the game is defense heavy already imo and i havent even thought about testing commit
not to wake a sleeping dog but anyone play with the strategy features yet?
i tried some last night on teewade and i didnt see a big dfference except i fumbled twice
is anyone consistently getting over 100 yards?
i think im not because im afraid to run toss sweeps or counters because they seem cheesy because they actually work

but thats my issue to get over and use in moderation
LOVIN the game though
after 1 day it still feels like im playing in mud but i tihnk that will disapate with time

I have played 6 games online, all with Houston. The first 2 games I didn't realize that "auto-sprint" was on so my running back kept trying to fly threw a hole that hadn't developed yet. Had 10 rushing yards 1st game and 15 the 2nd (both against Relio @ Ohio Bobcats and vs Nebraska Cornhuskers).
The next 4 games I averaged about 170 yards rushing (@ Cal, vs Kentucky, vs Tulsa, @ A&M) . All of this without any of the "strategies" on.

No it doesn't. It's guaranteed to stuff the run when you guess run middle, and it's going to lead to a sack on a lot of pass plays, if you don't have a line the likes of Alabama. It's cheese. Defend without it.

Yeah man defense has certainly improved. Also it seems like James gets hurt every damn game. Thank God Oregon has a stable of HBs. Only real negative thing I've seen on defense is that if DEs are playing contain and you try to throw a flare or pass in the flats, no matter if you try to dump it over their head, they seem to leap up and rip it right out of the air.
