Podcast is such a hipster term..
I make sure to wear my skinny jeans and v-neck shirts as I listen to em on my Iphone.Cnasty wrote:Podcast is such a hipster term..
Eh. It is more in the realm of stupid than hipster. It is a compressed audio file (mp3) and nothing more. It would be like calling any song that plays on your computer a "podcast."Cnasty wrote:Podcast is such a hipster term..
Is there any other way to rock a v-necker?ReignOnU wrote:Are you also rockin' a Smedium?
So, you want me to say I listen to the LeBatard show on compressed mp3 audio file, as opposed to podcast?trendon wrote:Eh. It is more in the realm of stupid than hipster. I'll think about it and get back to you.trendon wrote:"I listened to the LeBatard show."
"I listened to the LeBatard webcast."
You sound like Paris Hilton when you say "podcast."
I'm trying to get it to catch on. But Trendon is the REAL Most Interesting Man in the World.Cnasty wrote:I really love Trendon, like REALLY.
I am either the craziest fuck in the world or the only one making sense. I am too extreme to be in the middle. Either way, I am not sure if I even know anymore.Cnasty wrote:I really love Trendon, like REALLY.
I'm no expert on the subject, but your freind wiki says there is a difference between podcast and a webcast.trendon wrote:"I listened to the LeBatard webcast."
That's hot.trendon wrote:You sound like Paris Hilton when you say "podcast."
It seems that the main difference is that a webcast is generally considered to be live while a podcast is both. So, if I archive a webcast, it becomes a podcast. Either way, there is no functional difference between the two. Podcasts became popular because streaming shit is difficult and costly while recording an mp3 and uploading it is not.shel311 wrote:I'm no expert on the subject, but your freind wiki says there is a difference between podcast and a webcast.trendon wrote:"I listened to the LeBatard webcast."
I do, too. Half the time I don't really even believe what I am writing but the responses are too witty to pass up.Cnasty wrote:I enjoy reading your friends responses on FB more than your actual posts.
similar to putting car/locket/diary/house/safe keys on a carabeener (sp?) and rolling up one of the skinny pant legs and wearing winter hats in the summerCnasty wrote:Podcast is such a hipster term..
