In a few weeks. It looks absolutely insane. I cannot believe how the game went from utter shit from 1995 through 2007 and then, boom, three versions that keep getting impossibly better than the last.
NHL and FIFA--created and produced jointly by EA Canada/EA Europe and win tons of awards every year and are the highest rated sports games annually, helped majorly by readng forums/feedback and bringing in true gamers to test and point out flaws; 70% of the "new" changes to FIFA 10 were simply fixing customer complaints about FIFA 09. They have competition in the areas of hockey and soccer gaming. Thus they must put out a terrific product.

Everything else....is done by EA United States and is gimmicky, bug-filled, and glitchy and ignores what TRUE gamers want. They have no competition for NFL NCAA or golf. So try can just put out whatever.

And online teamplay for NHL/FIFA is some of the best stuff you can do in a sports game. Especially playing goalie on NHL and now this year you can on FIFA as well!

I did not play *ANY* of the PSX or PS2 FIFA games as I moved on to Winning Eleven but if I recall, FIFA had the same kinda problems that NHL had; arcade ridiculousness. I wonder what prompted them to fix their issues.

Winning XI (now "Pro Evo Soccer/PES") kicked their ass for years. They had to actually work hard and COMPETE for market share. Euro soccer fans want SIM for their games, not ARCADE. And EA had to finally respond to that.

Makes you wonder how much more sim NCAA would be if someone else could put out an NCAA game...

Exactly.

That's why I'm not quite sold on getting the new FIFA just yet.

I'll try the demo but if it isn't a real solid upgrade over FIFA WC, I'll probably skip it.

See, I'm the opposite; I find the FIFA Manager Mode to be the absolute best "franchise/dynasty" mode of any sports game out there, better than even The Show.

That said I'll be keeping WC for a few years.

Seahawks send CB Josh Wilson to Baltimore for a 4th or 5th round pick.

I'm not too sure I like this. Why would Seattle make this move?

I should investigate.

Yeah, and we still have Trufant (WSU REPRESENT), but I liked Wilson and we need all the help we can get.

I'm assuming Washington will return our kicks now.

I agree. Well, time to see how Cox, Lewis and Thurmond the 50th do.

Matt, seeing you are a big seahawks fan, and im a big time lions fan, and both teams like to trade within one another, what do you think about seattle trading Leroy Hill to Detroit? maybe our teams could trade, and Martin Mahew (Det GM) loves to trade. what would you feel about that?
