I actually intentionally call a play w :08 or so left simply bc it gives me a free look at the defense. If I like it, I run the play. If I dont, Ill let the qtr end

Unintentional A+
I wish I could take credit for that unintentional A+ but the "BBF" was established a while back.

I can not tell a lie.

I'm gonna drop this, but in closing, I am quite disappointed in the nasty one. I was so nervous at the thought of loosing that bet, turns out it was a lose lose.

I'm surprised at all the bitching going on in this thread by some. I mean, there are 119 unique and individual snowflakes here in the NDL. Of course there are going to be guys that take longer, hot route more/less, audible, play fast, or whatever the case may be. Just because it isn't your particular style of choice doesn't mean you should get your jocks in a tangle. Isn't there a play clock? Isn't that the amount of time your allotted to do as you wish? We play 7 minute quarters for for $&r*!t sake. Some of you are so damn self righteous it makes me sick.

I post what I don't like and I'm the self righteous one? Heh, nice rant though... B+ quality.

@ Weasel... I'm with you on the :08 sec thing, that's strategy and common sense. My point was, wtf is someone doing calling the play a 5, 4, 3 sec? I guess some people really don't pay attention to the flow of the game and understand the situation, they just pick'em, line'em up and see what happens.

sometimes that's it, but sometimes guys are just into the flow of the playcalling and aren't looking at the clock at all. i've mistakenly done it at times, and i've also been like you on defense wondering wth is the guy doing.

Eh, perhaps your right boss, I felt targeted there by Dave earlier in the thread. I feel my game-play is honorable, and I take great pride in my efforts to stay in the upper percentile as far as my coaches reports. So its hard to see when someone makes such a strong statement going against what you believe, I got defensive and I apologize for my heat of the moment comments, even to you Dave, I'm sure your a fantastic guy.

Oh, and the whole bites lip, rolls eyes, shakes head deal was solely meant for Cnasty and his failure to produce on his end of the deal concerning our humiliation wager. You probably knew that. Anyway, my bad, I regress.

I like playing fast for sure, and those every play audibles drive me nuts as well. I just wish more people I played would not be afraid to take the second and pause the game to let me know if they took issue with something, I don't know how others feel about this but it let it be known that I welcome comments on my game play during the game so I can make changes and learn.

I'll throw for 3000 yards and 30 TDs

Passing is sooooooooo easy!!!

Wa Wa Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow this is so old.. the only reason why i didn't get those numbers is cause I decided to have balance on offense since it was possible on this version of ncaa.. My qb passing atts and rb atts were separated by 12 more rushing atts.. You always bring this us up but you failed to notice I still threw for 2300 and 17 tds while my rb had 1300 or 1400 and 12 or 13 tds

So i didn't reach those number by choice not because I couldn't.
Well Now you have a reason to. :D

Pick a play and run a play. It really is that simple you people that over analyze and try to being real life football concepts into a VIDEO GAME really need to step back and look at why 99% of the league plays this game.
