Just enjoy the game. If someone runs the ball 50 times, work on defensing the run. Same as the pass. Third and long is usually a zone blitz or man blitz. I get ate up playing zone.

I never noticed much difference between aa and heisman, but I am not the best at finding the details of what works best vs different offense and defenses(understatement of the year!)
I just know that most of my sacks occur JUST when I see a receiver finally breaking free from a defender, and then the ever so realistic 2 yards pass directly to a d-lineman typically occurs.

In all of my games there has never been any strategy points used by either teams. I personally have no problem with it, and think it's a cool feature, but if my opponent doesn't use it neither will I. I think everyone should just abide by that.

But why do we need to cut down on this?
Cause the staple of the NDL since season 1 has been mix up your plays and try to use as much of your PB as possible...When a guy throws the ball 45 times and runs it 6 that is not mixing your plays up at all....And I think the reason everyone is passing so much is because the defensive pass coverage is that of a pee-wee football.
The league is supposed to be realistic, and in real life, some teams chunk the ball around all game. You cannot fault a guy for passing all game man, it's college football.

Or I swear if I score and Im up by less then 7 and there is at least 30 seconds left I know Ive lost the game.....that verticle play gives me nightmare's.
Never fails. I score with 30 seconds or more and they will march down the field and score a td. What do most of you run on defense? I was thinking it was me but apparently it is a league wide problem.
im not sure im with you guys on the vert play unless you are talking about the one where the inside guy does the hard deep slant
the verts all str8 are pretty much stopped by man cover 2
the ones with the slant guy just have to cover the inside trip guy manually with a zone guy preferably front side leaving strong safety to cover the inside trips guy over the top in zone with man underneath
i LOVE when someone runs this play
we all know its there and its 1st thing i look for...9/10 times guys throw it based on timing and even with my user skills i can pick it sometimes if u just strafe and time it
At lastly the guys who can through the super lob to the backside wr on his streak.
I've never understood why people still talk about "lob"... Wasn't that the problem in like NCAA 07?

Ive been pretty consistent with how much I pass in the past few seasons.
I have decided to become a passing coach and I will pass all game long. 3rd and inches Im passing. 3rd and 1 Im passing...
Dock me all you want, but I throw every pass route in the playbook

I honestly think most guys that are good at passing could throw for 500+ per game, but it's hard to win doing that. Guys that throw it all game are bound to make a couple of mistakes and it will change the game instantly. Plus a sack can be a drive killer in no time.

What is the "INT thing"?
the aggressive setting where the defense goes for the pick instead of the knockdown

everyone should do that, I mean, we need to think of the players and prevent concussions. also fuck all the assholes who use big hit, all they are doing are ending careers prematurely.

I did the whole "nice guy, don't use strats, blah blah bs" last season and it cost me my coaching job at my fav school. So that went out the window. I've been pretty up front about it lately, defense on AA is garbage. But we're sticking on AA for the remainder of this year's version. So to counter the pathetic D and help me keep some of my sanity, I'm using strats. You don't like it? Dock me. I don't really care. I play the game for enjoyment and watching AA swiss cheese defense isn't very enjoyable. Using some of the strats help to fix that.
I know Nole ran some numbers on the passing last season and they mapped out well against current NCAA information. But I'm guessing, as we've played more and we've had the tuning patch against M2M, those numbers have escalated. I've seen some insane performances in games as of late.
I'll openly admit though, I'm incredibly jaded about this game right now... beyond just the defense. The randomness of TOs is mind-boggling to me. I've had numerous fumbles with protect ball and secure catch on, while covering up. So just in general... I'm looking forward to next season's version already.

I run my offense based off what the defense is giving me, and 9 times out of 10 that I get a big play it is because I correctly guessed what play the defense is going to run based on what has happened already in the game, and with committing too the pass I do think it helps as I have been gashed by the run big time when using it in the past. I generally will not use anything other than set my receiving or running to conservative with a lead, but if I see my opponent commit to pass even one time I will start doing it the rest of the game in passing situations as well. Other than that I might try and force a fumble inside the 10 sometimes if I am trailing.
