See you guys have me itching to play multiplayer but I know if I start it I'll never go back to campaign. Gotta finish campaign tonight....

Never played a BF campaign. You like?

The game has been getting great reviews, except GameSpot gave it an 8.5. Their cons were about the campaign (honestly, when it comes to BF and COD the campaign shouldnt really matter) and that you can't practice flying jets offline.

Lol, I watched a bunch of campaign videos yesterday so I would know if I wanted to play through it...and i REALLY wanted to get into these bigger maps and check it out. They are so much fun man. Just play the campaign a little at a time and come enjoy the multi player before everyone knows the maps really well lol.

Campaign is decent, the one place where it bashed the campaign has it pretty right when it says the story line is kind of hashed together. If the game was based on the campaign's storytelling abilities than the game would suck. The story is a hodge podge of playing through different characters in a story based on some missing nukes. I like it cause I need to get used to the controls, it's been a really long time since I've played a shooter and in a weird way it's like a book for me. I want to finish it before I move on and I know it's short so I've been plowing through it. Most likely I'll be done tonight and see you guys online. My psn is shiftdnb if some of you new guys want to add me to your buddy lists.

I'd be up for a squad as well. Matt do you have it for xbox as well, thinking about picking it up used for the xbox later on down the line to play with my girlfriend

I sold my Xbox once Microsoft increased the Xbox Live fee to $60/year. There isn't a single Xbox exclusive that I felt like I needed to keep the console for. So I just have a PS3 and PC. The numerical BF's have always been better on PC, but playing BF with people you know makes the game much more enjoyable. So I'd get it on PS3 to play with the guys here and my friends whose PC's arent able to run the game.

Sure why not? Call it the NDL Army or something.

Shiftdnb: are you doing a quick match? I notice that it does that for quick match but if you go and manually choose your server it works fine.

I have a mic well I took my bluetooth headset for my old phone and figured I'd give it a try, was trying to use it last night but don't know if anyone heard me and I wasn't hearing anyone so I took it off. Definitely a good time had by all and it's taken some getting used to how the game goes and maps and stuff but I'm FUCKING LOVING IT!!! Rolling around with Cab/Carb/Can(???) and yougoogleizer (that's how I read your name in my head and went to put you in as a friend until it informed me you're not someone that goes around googling everyone) was awesome even without the communication we had some nice kills together. I'll be on tonight for sure again!
