Here is my criteria:

-An EPL team(Since I won't follow my favorite Bayern Munich FIFA team lol)
- Preferably one with not much rich history and tradition like Chelsea or Man U
- An up and coming team
- preferably has 1 or 2 stars I may know from FIFA
- Not a must, but a player from the US squad would be nice, if they even have any in the EPL
- Wouldn't hurt to have hot chicks who attend their home games

Go!!!

Criteria one eliminates: ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool....and if you're against the spending aspect, that rules out ManCity

Criteria two would bring up teams like Tottenham Hotspur (you'll know guys like Gareth Bale, Rafael Van Der Vaart, and Aaron Lennon), Everton (Tim Howard, Tim Cahill, Luis Saha), Sunderland (Asamoah Gyan, the guy who beat USA in the World Cup) and Fulham (Clint Dempsey)

with a US player, you're looking at Everton or Fulham

Hot chicks.....every team has WAGs, you just need to find a few you like

I'd say your best bet would either be Spurs, Everton, or Fulham.

i watched Shawn Wright-Phillips once and really liked him so i proclaimed from that day i was a Man City fan. now i hear he's gone and i couldn't name anyone on their team but i hear they've bought a ton of guys lately.

ManCity are a joke. They try to buy anything and everything. They still HAVE SWP, but he never plays.

that said, he will likely be a member of Bolton by the end of the week.

All honesty, if you're wanting a team that is up and coming, has stars from FIFA, and isn't a historical power, Tottenham is the team you want to support; they have great rivalries with Arsenal and Chelse because they are also in London. I actually love using Spurs on FIFA.

If you're wanting Americans, then Everton (Howard in net) or Fulham (Dempsey is the captain) are your teams.

Just depends which matters more to you.

Here are the Guardian team previews:

Tottenham it is. As long as i can just call them the Spurs, and leave the "hot" out of it LOL.

Dave, you pick one of the other teams, and we'll establish a rivalry for the ages.

You never here them called anything other than Spurs.

BTW, best player is Christian Bale, top 10 players in the world right now. Young winger who is amazing. jsence would blow.

You realize Arsenal-Spurs is probably the most historically heated rivalry in the EPL right? I've been considering getting FIFA this year. Bring it.

I did not.

Honestly, I knew Chelsea, Man U, and maybe Liverpool or the 3 best-ish franchises. As for who is best or how much they've won or domianted, i have no clue. As for literally anything else regarding the EPL, I haven't the slightest clue.

But I know now I have a hatred for all things Arsenal.

It's Gareth Bale, not Christian

And no, jsence wouldn't "blow"....he's a terrific young player though. Google a video of his three goal performance against Inter Milan last year in the Champions League.

And Peay, you should get it....we'd have enough to run a few small leagues, we've had them before and done well with them. Shel's pretty solid and he, Brownbear, and myself can give you plenty of pointers/small tricks to get you started. It's an awesome game.

Shel, if you're following Spurs (not "the Spurs", it's just Spurs or Tottenham), you'll want to brush up a bit on the Europa League (think NIT to the NCAA, that's what that is in regards to Champions League) because they are in it this season. Also, your biggest rivals will be Arsenal (North London derby, very heated) and Chelsea.

Btw....Harry Redknapp, he's got a twitch ;)

Well let's get Shel involved with the most enjoyable part of this time of year--transfer speculation

Apparently Chelsea have added Kalou to their offer of 27 million pounds AND Benayoun, in exhange for Luca Modric. I really hope Spurs don't do this deal, I know Modric is wanting to go to Chelsea but I'd hate to see Chelsea get even more midfield depth.

And now Spurs are trying to sign Adebayor from Manchester City, a loan deal with a possible permenant transfer clause for the end of the season.
