cool, I'll be watching that thread for the response.
Go respond with something like, "Yeah, I had that question before but forgot to ask" or some shit like that so that it doesn't show zero responses.
Done
Good question, I'm wondering this as well.

I had this happen, but didn't really say anything, and i didn't bother attempting to sign any Type As because I had a top 5 draft pick. I wasn't sure if I'd lose it for those guys from other leagues, and I didn't wanna take that chance.

Thanks

Trendon, can you take a look at my team.

Specifically the manager options.

None of my changes are saving each sim and it keeps resorting back to my manager making all the moves even though I have changed it to me each time so guys keep going up and down I dont want in the minors.

Again, make sure Im doing this right as its been a while.

Trendon: File up!
Nasty: Open up OOTP12 "check for updated league files"
Nasty: make all moves, do shit, mess with stuff, whatever
Nasty: Export team VIA FTP
Trendon: sees file, runs another sim, all changes show up next time.
Nasty: check for updated league files

Lather rinse repeat??

Nothing is saving on any sim that I check for and when I upload my changes nothing is going through.

Any ideas?

Are you having your managers make changes? They may be restoring things back after each sim.

When I took that season off it was all on manager so the last couple sims I went back and looked after I changed all settings to human, and it's back to manager making the changes.

It's not saving any of the updates I'm making such as what I control and demoting and promoting even after I changed it.

It did save some offers I put out there but it's not saving the moves, maybe Trendon needs to put me back as human or something?

I am pretty sure I am having the same issue. I hace two guys claimed that I didnt ask for and ive offered my SP 3 contracts in 3 sims without getting a response.

I also have contract offered to FA MR Rios.

Can't remember the last time I saved the game... I just pull the screen up, make my changes, export, wait for new file, get the new file, make changes to it, export. I use the export as my "save" function.

Is there an actual "save" function?

I was simply opening the program

Checking for new file from Trendon

Doing my stuff, changes, offers, demotions, crap like that

Export my file to the FTP for Trendon

Then the same process again every day...which has lead to no saves and nothing going through

Never shutting the program down

Makes me wonder what the file looks like Trendon is getting?

i noticed in hte past, im the worst at turning pcs off. i hold the button on the box til it turns off. if i leave ootp on, when i open it the next day and try to export, none of those files go thru. I exit through top right when i leave from now on to be safe.

It's weird because I've done it the same since I've been back and some things have saved and been fine on the upload to Trendon and some haven't...the last couple actually.

I guess to be safe the save function can't hurt before exporting my file to Trendon.

Especially since baker wins like every championship.

 I've only won 2.

And for the record, I never save manually. I used to on the old game (it would freeze up at times and crash, and I'd have to redo everything  ) I leave my game open 24/7 on the laptop. When I take it to work with me I just hybernate my pc, then its still up when I turn it back on. The only time I have to open up the game is if my pc does overnight updates and reboots itself.

Thought I had this shit figured out.

Still waiting for Trendon to see if this is a file issue or the way I'm saving
