While not every NDLer can get conf. commish bonus points, I am fairly certain that every NDLer CAN get bonus points added to their score, fwiw.
yup. its called writing articles for ndl espn... they give bonus points for that.
Oh and so people stop guess, 95% sure the user who wanted to learn us was Dr. Tom?

You're "new" around here. Probably about once a month or so, Veni says something and I call him out for having a complete lack of self awareness.
THis just another perfect example. He'll likely deny it, while a few will look at his post in awe that he would say something so ridiculous, blah blah blah, as usual.

okay time to defend both sides of the shel/vvv moment
talking about dudes being able to talk on the boards post retiring. no one yet has been declined, but last year Dak brought up how he'd love to not play games and stick around the boards and Nole brought up how, if not a member you lose your rights. now, obviously I personally dont care, and if youre a vet you earned a spot (like trendon/corey) and ive never seen an incident where its been declined publicly, but going forwards, if Dak now retired, and applied for the boards and was declined, thats a little hypocritical...
note: i am on neither side, just i guess playing devil's advocate.

PRoblem is, this rule about the petition to Nole for board access was publicized on the boards long before Corey retired, so...

what stuff ugh.. shouldnt of said anything to begin with.. fuck it
Dak said last yr, he was losing steam, would just stay on the boards. Nole said if you leave you lose rights, isnt that the same as "retiring". Yes. You say Corey knew about this, etc, before he retired. yes, but Nole didnt, hence his reactions in that 1 thread when it came to his attention. So clearly, there wasnt any "hearing" to see if Corey could stay before hand, and clearly nothings been done post or its a-ok.
But now, what happens if Dak, whos the only example I can remember, decides he wants to hang em up after this season...well based on last year, he would of lost his privledges, now? .. If he keeps em, then what was te point of that before, if he loses em, cant he bitch about the corey case?
thats all Im saying lol. I see both sides and I dont care. I think maybe after x amount of seasons you are grandfathered in like a sort of "hall of fame".. but im just saying what people think (add to it, NDL:F blah blah blah blah shit that people love bringin up meanwhile NDL:F essentially kept the league alive)
For the record, please dont think im trying to get people booted, I am trying to explain the situation from a diff view. I kinda wish I didnt post in the first place but whatevs

crazy. just seems wild to make a big stink about board priveleges and not being detrimental to the league and in the very same thread say something like that.

He basically insinuates, or maybe flat out says(not sure), that commishes don't do enough work to deserve the 3 points they receive. Plain and simple.
That is my guess as to why he is saying so strongly("for the sake of your children"), that commish points aren't the same as doing articles and getting points. Looks like he is just exagerrating it to support his cause, but just did so in an extremely disrespectful mannuer.
Ah well.

my exaggeration was only in response to yours.
I know you're not an idiot shel, so saying that earning bonuses for NDL:ESPN work is anywhere close to being a conference commish is completely disrespectful to the point I was trying to make. To become all hot and bothered by my comment as if I'm threatening your children is weak
mbyrd-- you're not involved in this nor have you been here for a while so no need to get riled up. Shel and I go back and forth regularly (like he said) and then nosence just whines
