I am not saying I belonged in the top 10..but at 3 losses and winner of the Pac 12 beating all the ranked teams in the Pac 12 except Stanford...I can't believe the voters wouldn't put me ahead of UCLA...doesn't make sense, I think the massey had me theire, but both polls didn't, I was winner of like 8 straight too. Realistic voting would have me ahead of them after winning the pac 12 as well as they had 2 losses. It's not a big deal, cause I got the same bowl I would of got regardless and I will probably lose that bowl game haha.
and I dominated you Marcus and UCLA!)

Figure I would finally chime in here. How in the hell does Arkansas jump me? I loss one game ( #1 Va Tech at the time ) and hadn't lost a game since then and won the conference but you say you don't know why people didn't show more love to Arkansas? It's comments like these that confuse me on peoples voting processes. But like its stated all over the boards people will vote how they want to. I just don't understand it because logically none of it makes sense. I vote on W/L, when the loss takes place and to whom (i.e. ranked opp, what rank, margin, opp who isn't ranked, etc.) S.O.S. I had a lot of respect for the 1 loss teams this season as their were a lot of them. But I always wondered how a top 10 team loses to the #1 team and drop 8 spots and not lose another game and struggle to get back into the top 10 with teams above losing later in the season and still being voted higher. Then the #1 team losing to a team that's not ranked and only falling 2 spots. Again this is not a complaint, just me finally trying to say I don't understand the logic behind voting. Are people voting the team or based on whether or not they like the coach because sometimes it just seems that way and if that's the case that's really not a fair way to vote imo. But I said my piece, was just curious since we have all this voting talk going on lol.MrChampagne3 wrote:xLiQx wrote:Yeah, the polls are tricky. I know I had you in my top 10 and pretty sure had you first in line behind the one loss teams. You had a pretty amazing run down the line.I also don't know how people didn't show more love for arkansas. In my opinion it was extremely close for Arkansas and VT for 2 and 3, I went with VT at 2 but could have went either way in my opinion. I'm not bitching and actually like the process, controversy makes it exciting and more realistic imo.
Here would be my logic. You both lost to the the #1 team, though Bama is still undefeated. The SEC isn't as down as the B1G this year. Arkansas gets the nod. Though I couldn't let either of you jump VT. I gave VT the nod because of his streak and I want to see that matchup play out.Dcane7 wrote:Figure I would finally chime in here. Agreed. It's close.BFiVL wrote:No matter if you had ark 3 or 4 or wisky 3 or 4 it still doesn't matter in the grand scheme. Bowl games wouldn't have changed so no need to fret. Both losses were equal and close to same time ( cane lost block 1 and he lost block 2). Cane won big 10 which is great but big 10 was not the SEC this season. To me, it's a wash and both are deserving but again, wisky was going to rose and ark to sugar regardless.
whats there not to get? lol. you play in the big 10... Lose 1 game in the SEC all year then make the case lol. Big Ten is like a mid major these days.Dcane7 wrote:See that's cool.
